This is a small but powerful museum sharing the importance of those who have served and protected America and who were also Jewish. It is beautifully and tastefully done. There is no charge and you can expect to spend about an hour to see the entire museum. I look forward to this museum growing and becoming even more impactful in the future. I'm so glad we took the time to visit during our trip to DC.

Hidden throughout D.C. are smaller, lesser-known museums worth a visit. The National Museum of American Jewish Military is no exception. Open Monday through Friday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., admission is free. There are two floors with several exhibits about Jewish Americans role in protecting the country through various wars. If you read through everything, it should take you an hour to take it all in.

Excellent museum about Jewish Military History. It's located close to public transit too. The admission is also free like the other museums in the area. I learned tons about Jewish contributions to the United States military. It's a small museum and you can get through it in under an hour but you will learn so much.

A wonderful place to learn about the Jews who have served in the armed forces of the United States. Articles, artifacts, photos and videos combine to tell a compelling story of achievement and sacrifice during several wars. Among the highlights are the stories of Jewish Medal of Honor winners. There is also a history of the Jewish War Veterans of America and its contributions. A small museum in physical size, it contains a significant,...
