I drove up to the drive-through window at 8:30 p.m., understanding it would close at 9:00. I waited 15 minutes for someone to come to the window. I could see that they were in there, serving other customers. I politely waited for someone to come and open the service window.
After another five minutes I pressed the call button. I got an automated voice that said to have my pharmacy scan/code ready. I had already done that.
After another five minutes, the car that had been in front of me pulled up beside me to say that nobody had ever come to the window and he had ultimately gone inside to pick up his prescription.
How difficult would it have been for one of the staff to simply put a sign in the drive-through window letting customers know that the pharmacy was short staffed and to come inside? Instead, customers drove up and wasted valuable time waiting for nothing, while CVS staff were inside, aware of the cars outside, and doing nothing.
This is why I have taken my pharmacy business to Amaon. I only went back to CVS this time because I needed the prescription immediately. But when all was said and done, it still would have been faster...
Read moreThe pharmacist, Andy Negash, here is incredibly rude and incompetent. They are consistently understaffed and miserable. Today was a new low. I waited in line for 10 min at the drive through with no one in front of me. When I finally got someone on the call, the pharmacist told me I didnât have a prescription ready. I told him I was texted yesterday that my prescription was ready and he said well youâll need to call your doctor to get another prescription. Then I said No! I donât because he already sent one yesterday and why would I get a text from CVS letting me know itâs ready if it wasnât? He hung up on me! I then had to go into the CVS on foot. Wait in line again for 10 min. This time a woman searched for me with my phone number. Turns out I had two accounts in their system and my prescription was ready. The pharmacist could have done minimal problem solving to see why this issue occurred before...
Read moreJust when you thought CVS couldnât get worse, we tried to go through the pharmacy drive-through Sunday around 12:45 PM for my husbands Rx. The shade was drawn with no indication of whether they were open/closed but an automated voice came on to tell us to have certain details ready to make the transaction go faster. Waited, waited, and waited, and no one ever came to the window. Finally went into the store and confirmed that the pharmacy was open, but of course thereâs a big long line. CVS desperately needs to increase its staffing of the pharmacy. I transferred my prescriptions to Safeway a while ago. My husband transferred his while he was waiting in...
