Starbucks — Restaurant in Washington

The worse customer service ever. There were just two employees working. One making the drinks another taking orders. I placed a mobile order for a TRENTA sized pumpkin cold brew with two shots. It was my free one which is why I made it big. I arrive about 30 min after I submitted order and it wasn’t on counter but I seen them making drinks for people just walking in so I ask lady with blonde hair at register. She said I don’t know. And she told me to look again. I did amc asked her if she could just remake it bc somebody prob stole it. I wait another 10 min and she brings the coffee and says “ I made it a venti since I had the wait. I said I didn’t order venti I ordered TRENTA . She just looked at me so with mad face so I said never mind and walked out. She didn’t put the two shots I ordered with the coffee in it and it taste terrible. I will not be going back to this one ever again. I had another thing happened when they were giving out free cups . I ordered pumpkin and thought that would be considered holiday drink but it wasn’t. When I asked the lady who was working the counter about the free cup she said pumpkin not considered holiday drink so k asked which ones were so I could just place order bc I wanted to get that free cup for someone. She looked at me as if I was the biggest pain in her you know what for even asking this and handed me the cup anyways but the entire time she looked like she wanted to strangle me. I’m from Cleveland ( the land of rudeness ) but the Starbucks employees are AMAZING in Cleveland. In DC they need some major personality changes. If you hate CS jobs get another one. 11/23/2022 4:16pm. I used Starbucks mobile to order my drinks. I was coming from a walk with my sister and two dogs, our plan was to sit in the patio once I pick up the drinks because the sun was still out and weather was warm. I noticed that there weren’t any seats at the patio? So I asked one of the employees if I can take one seat from inside (since it was clearly all stacked up) and bring it outside AND that I will put it back. The employee (didn’t catch his name) but he was wearing white headphones was giving me an attitude telling me “no we can’t do that. You can’t do that” and I told him “well dogs aren’t allowed in Starbucks, but they are allowed outside and I want to sit outside with my dogs, but there aren’t any chairs at the patio. And then he was like “yeah fine whatever. Take the chair” like… sir, I’m sorry that requesting a chair for an empty patio brings you so much trouble… Drinks were great, but that employee specifically could’ve been respectful. He was doing too much for a chair. If he was required to clear the patio at a certain time, then that would make sense. But he didn’t say anything and was just flat out rude.

Update: Just tell your workers and that particular worker that I described to you on that DAY to be respectful and not give an attitude for asking a SIMPLE question. It doesn’t cost anything to...

This Starbucks is my go to Starbucks when I’m working out of the office because it’s down the street from my sons daycare. Today I was here at 10am ish. And order a latte based on the recommendation from the barista. I also order the bacon breakfast sandwich. When I bit into the sandwich it was still very cold. They remade it no issues. I should mention today is the day Starbucks brought back the free refills and the mug service. So I ordered my coffee in the mug because I knew I’d be here till around 5pm. When I went to get refill it was my surprise I could not. I was informed that I didn’t order the correct drink even though when I was ordering I excitedly told the barista that I was excited about the refills and ordered it in the mug for that purpose. Despite this the wonderful store manager Josh took the time to explain to me what coffees and teas qualified and he gave me a refill anyway even though my drink didn’t qualify. I really appreciated that as I didn’t believe it was my fault. Love this Takoma location....
