I do not usually write reviews but, simply put, Dmitrii gave me probably the best massage I have ever had. As a trauma survivor, I am a bit of an enigma in that I appreciate the therapeutic benefits of massage but I can be very awkward and, as odd as this may sound, I don’t always like being touched during a massage, depending on the vibe of the room. Dmitrii has such a positive, calming presence that I felt extremely comfortable and relaxed from the very beginning, and I greatly appreciated him checking in on how I was feeling throughout the massage. I also liked how he incorporated stretches into the session; I left feeling not only relaxed from the amazing therapeutic massage but also with a greater range of motion, free from pain. And before leaving he showed me some stretches that I could do at home to help with my neck and back troubles. He is a true professional that clearly takes great pride in his work and cares about the well-being of his clients. Although I do not know him personally (reader, I have had two massages now from him) I get the impression that he is a very kind soul who likely lives what he practices - a calm, healthy, balanced life. Just for note, his apartment studio is very tidy and comfortable and void of any unpleasant or other odors. Look at the pictures on his website so you know what to expect - it is exactly as it appears in the photos. He also plays great relaxing music and it’s not of the typical ocean waves, nature, etc., variety. I’m so thankful that I took a chance and tried him out. I generally pay much higher prices at DMV-area spas for massages half as good as his. Dmitri is an amazing massage therapist in the S Arlington area. He is warm, friendly, gracious, professional, and quite effective as a massage therapist. Dmitri’s online massage booking system makes it easy to schedule a massage and I like that the reservation comes with booking reminders.

I booked a two-hour massage and when I arrived Dmitri inquired about any specific stress areas to target and my preference for pressure; I like strong deep tissue and Dmitri was able to meet the pressure I was looking for with strength and thoroughness. I remarked to Dmitri the next day that I was still feeling amazing; a sign of an excellent massage therapist.

Dmitri created a nice ambiance with soft music and a heated massage table, which I loved. I also loved the weighted heating pad he placed on my back as he worked on my legs. I enjoyed my first massage experience so much that I booked a second massage with Dmitri a couple of weeks later.

The second massage was even better than the first given Dmitri was becoming familiar with my body’s stress points. I also like that he remembered that I like extra time spent on my hands and feet. This alone makes Dmitri a keeper. I highly recommend Dmitri to anyone looking for an amazing massage experience.

A fantastic experience that I can only give the highest rating. Dmitrii is attentive, responsive, and professional with an intuitive touch that is hard to find in a massage therapist. You can tell he really cares about doing a good job, and he moved fluidly across the table to ensure a thoroughly relaxing experience.

I was particularly impressed with his passion for kinesiology; as I explained areas of my body that were under particular tension or stress, he could easily rattle off a variety of stretches and movements I can incorporate in my daily routine to resolve some of those pains.

A gym enthusiast; he's strong - really strong. I've had many massage therapists in DC, and he is one of the few with the controlled strength to give a very good stretch for an extended period of time.

Setting up an appointment was easy; he is responsive to texts; and his accommodations are relaxing (the heated table is definitely a plus). Again, hands down (pun intended) one of the best massage therapists in the DMV.
