Mitchell Park — Attraction in Washington

A hidden treasure, I passed by it twice and I did not see it. I live by S street dog park. Zetta (my daschund) and I are grieving as my boy crossed the rainbow bridge in April. So our regular dog park is not attractive to her anymore. Steps of the Mitchell park are not steep at all. Although it doesn't qualify as a maze. Great city park with a community herb garden that attracts butterflies and is a delight to wonder! Friends of Mitchell park help look after the area. There are some courts where folks play pickle ball, and a children’s play area and city managed play room that seems well used. The in park faucets are sometimes out of service , but other than that, this is wonderful resource for dog owners and children and adults...
