Legacy West End — Local services in Washington

Searched extensively throughout the Georgetown neighborhood for a luxury building with all whistle and bells in a safe area and great walkability and the Legacy West has it all! As a real estate broker for 27 years, I do a lot of due diligence before making a decision on any properties. Especially this apartment is for my daughter, I want to make sure she is in the best care, building and neighborhood.

From the moment I walked into the beautiful lobby, I already felt at home. And then meeting Arielle with her sparkling smile and enthusiastic personality and walking me through the property with great details, I knew this was the perfect place to call home for my daughter. I know Arielle has to do this many times showing properties, but she gave me 100% the best customer service ever and truly passionate about her job. What a great asset she is for Legacy to have.

The apartment is surrounded by 3 major hotels in the same street, the Marriott, Embassy Suited and Hilton Garden Inn. Theres a grocery store right outside the entry, super convenient and Walgreens around for corner, 2 important essentials just a few steps away. And then a great cafe next street over and Starbucks 2 blocks away, Georgetown University a good 20 min walk and all the shops and restaurants on M Streets…the walkability is amazing!!!

And just a 15 min Uber to DCA airport.

Made an appointment to view apartments at 4:30, but no one was at the office when I arrived. That part is understandable, as I made the appointment the day of and just three hours before the appointment (although I would still expect someone to be there during open hours). The worse part was that the concierge was extremely rude and not helpful, basically ignoring the fact that I was there and had questions (wouldn’t help set up an appointment for the next day). Moving into Legacy this past year was a very good decision. The apartment itself is very nice, while the building has a ton of great amenities. The location is perfect for GU or GW students, its close to the lively Dupont Circle area, and two metro stops. The staff is wonderful, expect to be greeted by a smile whenever you walk in by Shina or Mrs. Gail, and the leasing office is always happy to assist.
