I've been doing business with AutoZone because it was my closest parts store but I won't do anymore business with them. This AutoZone has terrible customer service (except for two employees) and terrible management (both were the ones I experienced the most unprofessionalism from). I've bought an alternator and starter from them off the shelf in the past two months and both were faulty. I had to pull the parts back out and order new ones from the warehouse. When I went in to have the starter that was just bought tested(it worked and then didn't and then did) the manager told me that it passed three times and almost didn't give me the other one that I ordered until I explained that I was told that I could keep the one I ordered because it was under warranty. And when I looked at the electrical plug in on the faulty starter the prong appeared to be bent. I had given the manager, Cody, a phone call previously and after checking on the delivery status of the ordered starter (the 2nd one) I told him to check all starters, batteries and alternators before they leave the store. He was very curt in his response and when I ended the phone call with an "ok" he just hung up. No apologies (unlike Shannon, the woman I spoke with about this issue) and just hung up the phone. Management doesn't seem to care about customer satisfaction and seem to just be there to punch...
Read moreIve always had good experiences at this store. They always give the right parts, they are knowledgeable fir thr most part. I had a little incident a couuple days ago i purchased new wiper blades an assoxiate followed me out to the lot and offered to install them. I was grateful as I only have one eye with vision. The next night im on the freeway in a down pour and the wiper blade flew off and there was no where to pull over. Itook it up with an associate when they opened and he wanted me to pay to replace it. Had I been the one to install it no problem. Im not paying for someone elses faulty installation. I damn near wreckrd my whole car over. And could have been fatal given the circumstances. I requested to speak with the owner and the manager gave me s new blade at no cist. Yhat was good because i wiuld have other wise had to wait 4 weeks to afford another. All in all i was very sarisfied and their associates are great thank you...
Read moreI went when the store opened and asked to get my code checked on a light that came on. The man at the counter told me he couldnt do it because the other two people who were supposed to show up, didnt. I understood and left. I came back at 1530 again and asked the guy at the counter if he could check the ligh . He said "yes as soon as the guy comes back from checking that other one". So I went outside. When the guy was walking by me, I asked if he could check mine as soon as he was done. He said yes. I waited outside for 10 minutes and neither person came out to help me. That was me asking three people to help me today, and not one was able to. Just for checking a light. This was my first day visiting this store and I do not think I will do so again.
