We've used Walgreens for almost 10 years so it is disappointing that I'm here leaving this review. The past 2 months we have received nothing but extremely poor and non compassionate customer service.
Last month, I called in a life saving prescription 7 days before we were out. I went up to the pharmacy every day until we had 1 pill left and was continually told that it was out of stock. On the day before we were out the tech told me she would "try" to order it that day. I asked her to clarify if she was going to order it or if she was going to "TRY" to order it. She firmly stated "TRY" and walked away from the window leaving me confused and scared that we were not going to get the prescription filled in time.
This month we're in the exact same situation and the tech again told me she would "try." I reminded her of our interaction last month and she stated she was "fully aware" and proceeded to roll her eyes at me straight to my face. I reminded her this is a life saving medication and I can't just chance it that it will be in stock. She replied with "I'M AWARE." I asked her what we needed to do to ensure we didn't run out and she said she couldn't guarantee this. I calmly stated "That isn't an option for us so I guess we need to change pharmacies?" and she said "I GUESS SO!" and stomped off, again leaving me at the window without a resolution.
Pharmacy tech lady: If you hate answering (legitimate) questions from people who don't really understand how the backend of pharmacies work and if you hate helping people who rely on you to stay alive, maybe it's time to find...
Read moreI wish I could've given zero stars, but one star is the lowest you can give so... The poor pharmacist was very red faced and I could tell she was so embarrassed while trying to explain why Walgreens was trying to charge me almost $450 for just one of my prescriptions, when they have it advertised for about one quarter of that (even though at 1/4 of the $450, it's still DOUBLE what literally every other pharmacy has it listed at!). She kept repeating that I'd have to call my insurance company to ask. But, since when does an insurance company tell a pharmacy to charge 4 times what their competitors charge? Nice try Walgreen's. It's time to find a more convenient and honest pharmacy. We're now on a one-family Boycott of Walgreens! Be aware and ask simple questions! Buyer beware. P.S., I do feel bad for the pharmacist, for being put into this position. This is clearly corporate greed,...
Read moreJasmine from the photo department has the absolute best customer service ever! I am a busy mom of two with a full time job and completely missed adding a date to my youngest daughter's birthday invitations. Jasmine noticed and took the time to call me and get it all sorted out. It was a journey for the both of us due to my replacement order being auto generated at a different location, but with the help of her manager we were able to figure out a way to get it done through her store. She even got the invitations shipped to me sooner than expected and sent them with a sweet note. Jasmine, I hope you read this someday and know I am so very grateful for you! I wish everyone was as kind as her and cared about their job the way she does. I would definitely drive from Sandy to work...
