Pretty disappointing. I ordered the fish tacos. The whole plate looked thrown together. The "fish" was coming out of the tortillas. I had to scoop it all back in again. The beans and rice looked like & tasted like typical beans & rice. The reason I say "fish" is that I'm pretty sure it was a frozen fish patty that was cooked and cut up. All bread, no fish, no flavor. And the only thing inside it was a random spatter of salsa. I also ordered Pico De Gallo and guac on the side. The pico was just mild salsa, but the guac was good. It was $5 for a Tbsp of it, but it was good and it was the 1 of 2 reasons I gave this place 2 stars instead of 1. My whole meal was $23...for 3 frozen fish tacos. My 1 other star was for the service. The waiter was nice, but came by 4 times. Drop off food, pick up food, drop off the check, pick up the check. That's it. We were a party of 7 women. We sat and chatted an hour after we finished eating. Offer us more drinks, more food!! Refill some water.... it wasn't that busy. Overall I'm good, I don't need to come back. And on a side note the ramp down to the dining area I'm sure does not meet ADA requirements. Super short and steep. My friend on her scooter fell forward because of the pitch. She could have been...
Read moreWe have been eating at this restaurant and having family and friends events since it opened. The service is always great no matter how busy. The servers are always friendly and cheerful. If you mention any thing that might not be to your satisfaction they will offer to replace it or make it right immediatly. The drinks are great and I can only have one since they don't skimp on the liquor. The food was outstanding but in recent years the quality and taste has in our opinion fallen to average or just okay. This is really a shame. We really love the fun environment provided by the staff, but we don't choose to go there nearly as often because the food seems to be about the same as the huge corporate chains. The prices have moved from a bargain to fair and on to slightly high in our opinion. If you haven't tried Los Dos, I would recommend that you do. I will welcome comments or criticism of this posting. My goal here is to encourage Los Dos to review there processes and bring back that superior...
Read moreSurprisingly tasty Mexican food in tiny Washougal with 2 locations. It is not authentic Mexican. Everything was mild (no heat) and "American-style" Mexican food. Salsa and sauces all tasted freshly made and delicious. Extremely good value as our lunch was around $25 for 2 lunch plates, a beer and glass of horchata, including tip.
We enjoyed a pork chili verde burrito and a combo plate of chicken enchilada and beef taco. Both came with rice and beans.
The verde sauce was quite good. The pork chunks were a little dry, Overcooked? Not sure. But the flavors were spot on and the rice and beans were both very good. The enchilada and taco were both very good. Well seasoned ground beef in a crispy corn tortilla. Very flavorful chicken with great sauce on the enchilada.
All in all, a great meal if you're in the mood for Mexican...
