Riverside Bowl Skate Park — Attraction in Camas

It's awesome to see Camas and washougal spend a little community dollars to make the skate park bigger, thank you. But whoever we contracted to do the skatepark cement work had no idea what they were building... So while the mural is cool and the skatepark got bigger, they winged it.... This was a contractor money grab because they didn't understand how to actually build a skatepark

In connection with the redo, the City went with slightly lower bid from local tradesmen as opposed to hiring professional skatepark builder. As a result, this is probably one of the worst skateparks in the PNW, dangerous to beginners and not worth riding for advanced skaters. Oh and rumor has is that, the local crew came in over budget and over the professional builder bid. Maybe we will get it...

I’ve always lived around this park and it’s very empty all the time, except sometimes in summer there r kids around and sometimes other teens. It could be a fun place to hang out with friends and fam especially because there’s a river right by it, not much to skate on tho besides...
