I love Grocery Outlet, and this is the one I end up going to 99% of the time. But over the last few years I just can't get the things I want here, and it's getting worse.
I could go to either of the Grocery Outlets on 4th plain and find everything I want. But the stock is always low to non-existent here.
Very high demand that for some reason this store isn't making any effort to meet. They should be stocking 3x more snacks, cereals, kombucha, almond milk, etc. than they are.
Long story short, more and more I find something I like here, and it is gone, rarely replaced, in a couple of days or less.
I would just go to the new Grocery Outlet on 4th plain if I could, and that is what I would recommend.
The inflation and shipping issues that have been plauging us since COVID only make matters worse.
UPDATE: I don't think it was even a month ago, and they had cases of several kinds of good olive oil. Less than a week ago they had a least a dozen boxes each of Kombucha for $1.49. It's all gone.
The kombucha I can understand. But who in the world buys a dozen or more cases of olive oil in less than a month? Oh yeah, and potatoe chip selection remains terrible here.
My theory... Everyone is shopping here and the folks running the store aren't even trying to keep up with demand. I told my dad I don't want to go here anymore.
Update 6-4-2024 They have a mark down rack now, and I have been able to get a few good things here. Chip selection has improved, as has kombucha. But cereal and kombucha both have been low in stock until recently.
I'm a little happier with the store as it is right now. Maybe nothing has changed, but I feel as if more effort is being put in to stocking the shelves. Maybe their sources just aren't providing enough items.
For now at least I can find many of the things I need and want here. I still want to know what happened with all that...
Read moreI came to see my doctor office near this shop so decided to go shopping in there, but after done shopping and went to checkout...I asked them that they do military discount $3 every $35 like other branch then she looked at me with attitude and said no! Ok..it doesn't hurt to ask since other grocery outlet did offered! But her attitude so bad toward me and she doesn't pack my grocery so I had to pack my owed grocery in to the bag and say thank you to her since she doesn't say one! But after drove back home in Vancouver and found out that she charged me over price 2 items so I called the shop and they told me that I had to bring back to this shop only so today I gave my husband to bring these item to the shop to get a refund for 2 items that they over charged me...the cashier amd mgr. saw the receipt and 2 items that over charged but still don't lets my husband to return the items since no original payment with him no matter my husband offer cash or store credit he can accept but they say no...so he still can't return these items ofr me and we live in Vancouver has to drive to camas just to return these 2 items that the store over charged me! Read moreI was just there an hour ago! Made over $50 purchases. Walked out 15 minutes later as I walked in. Tried to return 4 small candle @ s2.99 each. As the cashier tried to explain “although they recognized and remembered rung up my purchases, but without receipt they can’t cash refund “ the manager walked up as I explained.. but it was on my debit Visa card. She said without even looked at me. “You have no receipt I can’t credit it back to you “ then walked off . I felt it was because I am an OLD ASIAN WOMAN and stupid , to her I don’t deserved to be treated with respect. But I am smart enough to know how to treat customers. I have integrity. I would have taken time to explain more. Also without receipt but within 15 minutes of checked out, there’s so easily retrieved duplicate, moreover, debit visa receipts should be maintained in the system.as stupid as she thinks I am, but even I am not manager as she. I do have brain to know this. So BEWARE All ! NOT SHOP at GROCERY Outlets at 3308 NE 3rd....
