This is seriously the sweetest place for young kiddos! My 3.5 y/o is totally obsessed, we already got a membership. The owner is super involved and the sweetest woman. She’s truly put her heart into this place!
I love that there is a great mix of Montessori and traditional kids toys, learning and fun toys, as well as books and a climbing structure. We went in during the soft-launch period and my kiddo was entertained for nearly 3 hours and still didn’t want to leave (typically the admission time is 1.5h to ensure everyone has time to play, it was just more flexible since it was a soft launch and she wanted to see how kids interacted with the space). He was extremely entertained, seems like there are endless things to do despite not being an overwhelmingly large space!
The membership options are also great (as well as some options for your kiddo to be supervised while you do computer work in the back room). The focus on cleanliness is major, as well as the owner being very cautious about having kiddos come in that are experiencing sick symptoms (she’s very clear this is a no go for her, which is a huge win! Nobody wants to leave a play place with a cold).
I love that the entry is set up to have a bar counter with seating overlooking the entire play area. It’s really convenient that the space is one large room, so you can see your child without having to get up. Looking forward to setting up my laptop and getting some work done while the toddler runs around. Also, the coffee is great! Lots of tea options also.
I also love that she has an area fenced off for non-walkers. I’ve never seen a kids play cafe have that but I love the idea of having the toddler play while the baby can swing or have some safe floor exploration time.
Nicole, the owner, has a huge heart for kiddos with special needs also and is doing everything to make her space inclusive for everyone. This was clear after talking to her for even just a short while. If you have any issue while you’re there, I feel confident she will do everything possible to resolve it. Though, I really don’t foresee any issues!
Overall, I’d fully recommend this play place! It’s such a special spot and in a...

We are so thrilled to have this new kids play café in the neighborhood—it’s honestly everything we’ve been missing since the old “Cafe Sip n Play” in Camas closed. The moment you walk in, you can feel the love and creativity that’s gone into the space. The owner is not only an incredibly talented artist but clearly someone who truly loves kids. You can see it in every thoughtful detail—from the colorful, imaginative play areas to the cozy little reading nooks.
It’s the perfect spot for working parents who just need a break (or a place to answer a few emails while their kids play safely within sight). An it’s conveniently located right next to the big Safeway, so you can grab groceries after your coffee break—which is super helpful for busy parents.
If you’ve got little ones and are craving a place where you can both relax and recharge, this is your new go-to. Welcome to the neighborhood—we’ve been...
Read moreLoved being a part of the grand opening and especially the way the owner involves the community! She had local high school students from the drama department dress up as characters to interact with the children who came to play. One of her former highschool students painted a delightful and inviting mural on the front window. She collaborates with other local entrepreneurs to serve the community. Washougal has just moved up a notch with this creative new business for both kids and their parents. Check it out, visit with other parents while your kids play with new friends, and have a complimentary cup of coffee while you're there. Meet the owner and find out all the creative things she has planned for you and your...
