I'm disgusted with Verizon ive been a cell phone and home FiOS triple play customer for nine years. I bought my new motoz2 phone a little over a month ago. This is my fourth Motorola Droid phone. This new one gave me trouble right away it would freeze up or go to black screen you couldn't get it to work right now icons didn't come up no arrows on bottom couldn't do anything with it also I could be writing an email or message and it would conk out go to black screen. So I went back to Verizon I've always gone to the watching store I told him what was happening he couldn't get it to work either so he went back to restore factory settings it was wiped. But Verizon makes it easy to transfer all your contacts etc they are all backed up to cloud very easy to restore. So he did that and checked my apps made sure they were safe I don't use many apps. It was ok for two days then the same thing kept happening. So they sent me another phone and I put all my info on it very simple worked a few days then same thing. Got sent another phone this has happened to four phones I got a new one cause the Droid I had for two years started doing the same I/U error. Same problem on all four phones. Last phone I now have I had to put it in safe mode. That helped but it wipes out all the apps. I called tech support again asked for a supervisor cause previous techs told me if it happened again they would send me a new different phone. So I told them I wanted that but they said my acct is past due I always make payment arrangements I'm disabled get paid once a month on the third and I always pay on the third or earlier of the month haven't missed a month all these years. Then she said I had to pay off the phone to get a different one new. She was nasty it's so wrong what they are doing to me. I have the latest update on the phone they said they are working on releasing a big update to fix this problem. Every phone that Verizon has that uses this software has the same problems. I looked this phone up online they've been having this problem on these phones since 2016 or less. This is outright fraud they are selling defective phones knowingly and they lied when they said they would send me a new different brand phone but oh no the nasty supervisor said I have to pay off this phone first bull why should I buy a knowingly defective phone? I'm disabled I've gotten all my phone's from Verizon on payments I'm disabled I can't afford to pay in full especially not for a defective phone. So I asked her to take some money off my bill cause of all this she said she could take off five bucks unbelievable! So I have to use a defective phone in safe mode until the software update I was a programmer it shouldn't take this long they've known about this since 2016or less. Plenty of time to get a software update. I want to sue them they are doing fraudulent things on certain phones with this software they are still selling them,! I'm disabled I need the phone and I need to get a lawyer DON'T buy from Verizon lies and fraud! They are nasty and after four phones with same problems they've known about they won't do anything for me and I still have to make monthly payments fraud! Read moreDo not go to this store if you are planning to switch wireless carriers. The customer service is horrendous and the employees know minimal. They were very unclear when we switched carriers of multiple items, causing our bill each month to be double or triple of what we were quoted in the store. When going back into the store to discuss and figure out the added fees they provided no assistance the blame was pointed to “corporate.” The staff simply stated, corporate didn’t push thru any discounts applied to the account on their end. But, not worry because we would only be charged the agreed upon amount when we would get our bill the following month. Or there would be no bill the following month because the payments and discounts sometimes take time to apply to the account. And we would receive a credit to our bill for our already made payments. They were absolutely WRONG. These past couple months with the company we have had to pay multiple extreme amounts. With our service being disconnected at one point because of another payment we were unaware of needed to be made. Come to find out the staff in the store had not processed or entered our contract correctly and had not explained the billing process correctly. Also, no refund or credit to the bill was possible because once again they did not provide correct information. We found this out after spending 4 hours in the store with zero answers and no resolutions . We received most of our clarification from customer service rep which was another additional hour at home on the phone. Can you hear me now? Great service! I ordered two mobile MiFi hot spots online and received in new/perfection working condition. This process was new to me since I obviously use my home internet however, with traveling often I decided to get some hot spots for the road.
The monthly price I pay is very reasonable and can handle many devices at once. Connection multiple devices (laptops, iPhones and one video game console) it ran without any interruptions.
You can manage your account online which is simple to set-up like any other account out there. Billing, plans, your data usage etc. It's very user friendly whether you consider yourself new to technology or guru.
