I would like to start off by saying Watchung N.J.Target is by far the BEST Target to go to for everyday items and supplies. I love this store so much that I travel 38 miles TOTAL there and back just to shop. On this day October 7, 2021 at 10:38am, I purchased two television sets and a television stand from the electronics department. The whole electronics team was not only helpful, and friendly, but completely professional. That is until it came time for check out. I was told by the electronics manager that my items will be at customer service waiting for me, because I had a few more items that I needed to pick up. The issue arose once I got to customer service. Once at customer service I began inquiring about my items, and was met by the manager who stated he could help me out. As we talked another worker named Michelle rudely interuped and said, THAT'S NOT FOR YOU"! As I tried to explain the situation to her she just repeated, THAT'S NOT YOURS. I understand that the items I purchased were pricey, but was the blatant attitude and disrespect of myself called for? The customer service manager then stated his name and said that "HE" was there to help me. Finally the transaction was completed and he thanked me for coming to the stored and that I could always look for him to help.I rate this interaction One star because I felt racially discriminated against by Michelle from...
   Read moreI really, really wanna like this store.....Target's a decent chain, & it's a coveinant location. They recently remodeled the store which I was hoping would make a difference...sadly it did not. Before the store was remodeled, restocking was awful, w/many empty shelves-and in the grocery section many food items w/clearly marked expiration dates still sitting on shelves. Carts full up all over the store w/items to return to their proper locations, but just sitting in the aisles. There was more than a few times where I left my cart unattended for a few moments to look in another aisle, and when I returned an employee had taken it away...while I appreciate the employees' diligence, it was annoying and inconvenient. On numerous occasions employees were unable to answer my questions...perhaps not properly trained, or not getting paid much. after the remodel it seems they removed a few cashier sections, only to replace w/"self check-out" areas...on a few occasions only one cashier was working which forced most into the "self-checkout" lanes where people were understandably confused which held up the lines.    Read moreI ordered a car seat online and because they didnât have the option to deliver to my house. I went to pick it up from the Watchung NJ location. A young man helped me out and got the car seat for me once I showed him my email. When I went to purchase a few other items I showed the cashier my email for the car seat as well. In the parking lot some woman âone of the managersâ tells me my order was cancelled and I had to repurchase the car seat. I showed her the charge on my card and the email and she insisted the order was cancelled. I asked for a receipt to confirm Iâd be refunded the initial purchase. She wrote on a paper that the original order number had been cancelled as if thatâs âproofâ. She was rude and didnât seem too sure about anything she said. Iâm pretty sure whoever was in charge with putting together the online order was too lazy to bring it to the front for pick up so decided to say it was no longer in stock and then cancelled my order on me as I got there. Do not shop in this location. Rude and unorganized staff. If an item will not let you ship to your home just donât purchase.
