This Starbucks on US-22 in Watchung is a solid choice for your coffee fix. The location is convenient, right off the highway, making it a great stop for commuters or anyone running errands in the area.

The staff is generally friendly and efficient, even during busy hours. I’ve had a few visits where the service was exceptionally quick, which is always a plus. The store is clean and well-maintained, with a decent amount of seating if you want to stay and work or catch up with friends.

As for the drinks, they’re consistent with what you’d expect from Starbucks. My go-to order, a caramel macchiato, is always made well here. The food options are standard, but they do the job if you’re looking for a quick snack or breakfast.

The only downside is that it can get pretty crowded, especially during peak hours, and parking can be a bit tricky since it’s shared with other businesses in the plaza.

I only gave 2 stars bc it has been well over an hour, and I have yet to taste the white mocha....and I've paid extra for it. When I order this drink at the Target location down the street, and Stabucks locations elsewhere, I have no issues. (Shoutout to that morning team at Target in Watchung, they are amazing‼️) I plan to frequent this location though, and there's never an issue with service since they've recently opened--but I want what I order and pay for. A courtesy replacement drink would be nice @mgmt. I would've called, but no phone number is listed on Google. Genuinely shocked by how rude the staff was at this Starbucks. I pulled up to the window, said “hello” and “thank you,” and was met with complete silence. Not a word. No smile. No “have a nice day.” Nothing. Just grabbed my drink and turned away. Honestly felt like I was inconveniencing them by existing.

What made it worse? They had the nerve to shove the tip screen in my face like I should reward being completely ignored. Starbucks is known for friendly service, this was the total opposite. I’ve never left a Starbucks feeling more unwelcome. Absolute bare minimum effort, and even that’s generous. That staff needs an...
