I don't even know where to begin. This was the third bridal shop I had been to on my first day hunting for The Dress. The first one I went to had a rude and extremely pushy employee who made my experience a living hell. They wouldn't even let me video chat my family members or take pictures in dresses. The second one I went to was a little better, but the customer service wasn't as great as I'd have liked. By the time I got to A'doraBelle I had lost hope of having a fairytale experience at a bridal shop. IMMEDIATELY when I walked in I was greeted wonderfully by the receptionist who escorted me to my own private room. These rooms are GORGEOUS. There's an area for your friends/family to sit and then a curtain. Behind that curtain is a mirror and platform where the bride puts on her dress. The ladies then pull back the curtain to reveal your dress. IT'S AMAZING! I can't say enough about Cheryl. Due to COVID, we can't pick out our own dresses, but if you show Cheryl your style and designers you like, she'll pull the most amazing dresses for you. I trusted her and she delivered. Every time she pulled a dress she asked me what I liked and didn't like and would pull the next one based off of my feedback. She was constantly complimenting me (not in a "I need you to buy a dress way" but in a very genuine way). She wasn't pushy at all! She literally MADE my experience. She interacted with my family on my zoom call. She turned off the lights and had my maid of honor turn her flashlight on so everyone could get a look at how beautiful one of the dresses sparkled. And KIM (the owner and seamstress) was so wonderful. I had found my dress, but I wanted some changes and she assured me that she would be able to make those changes and seemed just excited for me as my family was. I cannot stress how much positive energy was flowing around this place. I also liked the fact that I didn't have to undress in front of Cheryl. She kept everything discreet. She would hand me my dress behind the curtain, I would put it on privately, and she would come in and secure everything to my body shape. Before leaving, I told them I had a dream dress at another shop I wanted to try on the next day (I'd seen it online and NEEDED to try it on). They didn't try to push me not to go (unlike other shops). Cheryl and Kim were also willing to stay open late the next day (and even come in on Christmas Eve morning) if I didn't like the dress I saw online and wanted to go with the one here. I was coming from Texas and was going to be leaving Michigan on Christmas Eve. The next day I tried on what I thought was my dream dress at the other salon and I HATED IT! I quickly called A'doraBelle and told them I was coming back to say yes to my dress. It was a wonderful experience, a lot of my family was on my zoom call and I was able to try on my dress again WITH MY BEAUTIFUL VAIL! This is the place! THIS IS THE PLACE TO GET YOUR DRESS!!! You will feel like a princess and you will be cared for like you deserve! The customizations they can do on dresses are amazing, so keep that in mind if you're feeling iffy about a dress. I LOVE...

This bridal salon clearly needs to learn how to read measurements for the dresses they offer. I am in a wedding that is in August and I had to order my bridesmaid dress from this salon. I had to call with my measurements since I live in the Chicagoland area and it would be too difficult to make it to the Detroit area to get fitted. For reference I am 5’2, 126 lbs., 34A bra and between 8-10 pant size. When I called with my measurements over the phone they suggested I order a 14. I stated that it sounded a bit off and that I was 3 months postpartum at the time and I could lose some weight. She asked what size pants I was currently wearing which was a 10 and that this dress is based off of the waist size. She also said that if I were to choose a different size that it would not be recommended. Let me say I am still in the exact same pant size and I am swimming in this dress!!! It is falling off my shoulders and the waist part hits right below my belly button. I am not the only person in this wedding party to have the wrong size dress – there are at least 3 of us! There was also a girl in our wedding party that DID go there to get measured and they recommended the size 12!! Thankfully when she was checking out they decided to have her try on multiple sizes (I am assuming after thinking about it they thought the 12 was seriously wrong) and finally settled on a SIZE 4!!! What a joke! Their excuse was that these dresses are “European sizes” and they run a lot bigger than your normal size. I called today furious letting them know that the size I received was far too big and to see if they would be able to order a new one in time. The answer is a rude NO. The woman I spoke to basically told me that because I called in with my measurements instead of going in there that it was my fault. It would be nice for some money back to put toward alterations if I am not able to get a new dress. After receiving my dress and calling the salon I looked at numerous reviews that also showed they made the same errors with other customers in sizing and were not willing to correct their mistake. I would strongly suggest to not order bridesmaid dresses from this bridal salon ESPECIALLY if you have people from out of town in the wedding. If you have to order dresses from here make sure all your girls are available to go in and get measured and try on all the sizes because they clearly do not know how to read a size chart. I truly hope I am able to get this...

Absolute worse experience! Went to 3 shops prior looking for a dress, the blonde that helped me did not seem happy that my maid of honor and brides maid wanted to help me find dresses to try on as they know my style and what i have liked. The lady also did not show me any dresses that were marked down but told me they had them up front. We were told not to touch the dresses just to look at the photos on the dresses, super irritating but we listened. After we had some picked out one was over what I wanted to spend but I was more than willing to spend more the lady said you might want to check the price on that.. I said I did and I'd like to try this on thank you... so with the dresses pulled, I went to grab one to try on and she refused to let me or my girls touch them. She goes oh, no no.. that's for me to do... She wanted them to bàsically sit down, shut up and hold the dress up to me or put it on me.. we went back and fourth about what I wanted, I'm the bride, im the one who will be spending a lot of money on a dress, this is MY wedding not YOURS... sorry ladies but first of all dont make your clients feel uncomfortable... I told my girls to get up because were leaving.... the girl made us uncomfortable from the second we walked in the door.. I ended up going to a L'amour bridal shop in novi the owner of the shop was really into it helped me get the dresses on, pulled some for me to try on and let my girls in the dressing room with me and bombshell in st claire shores let my girls help me and both places were there when I needed their assistance... they both made me feel like they cared that I was truly interested in purchasing my dress from them. Can't wait to to back and get my dress 😍... it's not from A'doraBelle they lost the business i had for them plus another wedding dress after mine due to the customer service and the way I was treated.. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE.. ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE...
