My wife came to return something purchased through DoorDash that did not work all we wanted was the same item Norwich agreed but they had none left so they said go to Waterford they will exchange well when returning the item she was harassed about it and refused the return treated as if she stole it when we have the receipt from DoorDash and the complete item and box the lady who was there was very rude and should not deal with customers her boss also told her no that it was not purchased through them so they won’t do it. I don’t think DoorDash should associate with them if there’s going to be a problem with returns I will never shop there again Norwich on the other hand made things happen they called and told them they need to return the item.the lady’s name was Danielle she was the store manager at Waterford who rudely treated a customer like trash she needs to be fired DO not go to this location if you want to be profiled I will be talking to my lawyer about this situation as we fear entering another ace hardware and leaving feeling like a criminal as we were treated like one if you work with people you should not have a attitude or treat them any way and they refused us now we have to go through corporate I need answers I refuse to be robbed and my wife upset and crying ….update the gm is going above and beyond to fix this should have...

I look up what I need to purchase to see if it is in stock before I go to the store most of the time. This was the third consecutive time I have gone there and even though the website said it is in stock it was not. I walked the store for about 15 minutes before finally asking an associate where I could find the item. She then told me it is not something in store. The website says it is available for pick up that day for curbside if I chose it in Waterford. She then told me it was like that if I chose to order it and have it come in three days. This Ace Hardware has some great guys working for them! Last night, black friday, I had called the store to see if they had a product I wanted. They said they had one left and would hold it for me. I wasn't sure I could make it there before closing time, but I tried my hardest and made it there just in time to see the three young men who worked there, at the door, getting ready to close the store. When I pulled up to the door and got out, they asked if I was Marie. I told them yes and they were happy I made it. They gave me the item I wanted and cashed me out with my great black friday coupon : ). They were so friendly and helpful that I had to write this review. Thanks again to the guys at Ace Hardware...
