I went here to find some new boots and the guy working in the shoes area was definitely drunk and smelled strongly of booze. I noticed him dealing with another customer who was getting frustrated with him and the employee just kept saying I’m so sorry over and over. I asked about a shoe they used to have all the time and told him the name and showed him a picture on my phone but he couldn’t remember the shoe name or brand or size I wanted and asked if he could take my phone in the back and I just said no I don’t think I feel comfortable with that and then he just said sorry like 15 times and wandered aimlessly off in to the store. Store is getting a bit overcrowded with their inventory which makes it hard to actually shop. Corporate needs to send their DM down to take a look and see. Then there are parts of the store that actually NEEDS more inventory, which is usually the 'Seasonal' items. The staff is the best thing about this place as they are mostly welcoming (as required per company policy) but they do follow up and do their best to be helpful. I also Frequent the Salinas Store which is also very overstocked as well hopefully they figure it out, people like their store but it's frustrating when you can't find anything mostly because it's so overstocked. Went in today to get cleats for my son. 3 employees at register and no one acknowledged me. Stood in the back bybthe shoes for 5 minutes. Then I asked if I needed to ask for help or if someone was already in the shoe department. One employee just stared at me and walked past me. So I asked again same question. The employee said "I'm gonna help, what do you want?" He was very rude and looked disturbed that I asked him twice for help. Well my son is 5 and will be playing many sports.
