Round Table Pizza — Restaurant in Watsonville

Ordered curbside delivery online. Order was supposed to be ready at 6:09PM. I arrived about 10 minutes early and parked in front of the store with my lights on as instructed. A lady from inside delivered to 3 different cars that were around me. She looked at me as I was watching her to hopefully let her know I was there. I sat and sat as now there were no other cars around me and I had my lights on in the middle of the front door. Finally at 6:30PM I got out of my car and walked into the restaurant. Upon approaching I asked if my order was ready noticing that there was one order sitting in a hotbox behind the counter. A young gentleman acknowledged my order on the computer. I asked him what the point of curb side delivery was during COVID19 if I had to come inside the restaurant to get the order. He didn't even ask what I was talking about and turned his back while saying he was sorry. The lady that made the deliveries to the other cars around me was on the phone not 5 feet away from the gentleman and when she got off the phone she definitely could hear me because she was too close to not hear me talking about my situation. Not once did she ever look at me or acknowledge me when I addressed her to ask what happened. The gentleman took the food out of the hot box (you guessed it) it was my order. The gentleman gave it too me while looking down and not looking at me. In closing I walked out of there REALLY feeling like if I was not caucasian I would have been taken...

It was a spontaneous idea to get take out at Roundtable Pizza. I got a personal cheese pizza with a large salad from the salad bar. And I loved it all!! I decided to get the salad bar upon noticing that they even had it available. It was about 10 bucks. The nice girl handed me a giant container to fill. I put everything in it. It must have been my good luck that it was almost closing time, and they still had plenty of salad bar. I don't know if that's standard or I just got lucky. It was a standard salad bar garbanzo beans, cheese cottage and cheddar, jalapenos, pepperoncinis lettuce, the works even pasta, potato, and fruit. Spent 150 for pizza that took 50 minutes to receive. My daughter had four friends that went up to the salad bar and put ranch on their plate. Three parents went and put ranch on their plate. My daughter went to put ranch on hers and was stopped by the lady who watched all others get ranch and told no. My wife who watched my now embarrassed daughter walk back to the table went up and got her ranch while this lady was telling her no. This lady then walks in the back and the manager comes to our table and belittles my wife in front of everybody. This while all other kids had ranch on their plates sitting with their parents. We were the only family not the same race as the manager and worker. I have never sent out a feeling of racism review before and sickens me to do so. I hope...
