All in all, the food seems subpar and was not filling at all. I called to make a to-go order and asked if the Miso and tempura were vegan. The girl said the miso could be made vegan without the fish flakes but that the temperature had egg. So I ask for a to-go order of the Teriyaki tofu which came with miso and rice and she told me it also came with a salad. I asked about the salad dressing, if it had eggs, dairy, or fish, and she said she thought it had Dairy but she wasn't sure. I didn't get the vibe that she wanted to go and ask so I just asked for no dressing. She told me it would take about 15 minutes and I showed up about 10 minutes later, paid for the food, went to the restroom, and came out and the food was not ready I waited for another 10 minutes inside the restaurant. When I got the food she tied the to go bag so I was unable to see until I got to the car. She handed me the Miso soup and it was so hot it burned my hand. I opened it up and the hot rice and plain tofu we're sitting in a box with a cold salad. If this is what they think Teriyaki tofu is they are sadly mistaken. I was excited when I saw all the tofu dishes on the menu, but if this is how they cook tofu then I probably will not be coming back here. I went back in and asked for teriyaki sauce because I did not see any on the tofu and told her I didn't think it was a good idea to put a cold salad in a box with hot tofu and hot rice. It took 5 minutes to get the smallest box they had with plain lettuce and a side of they're not very good teriyaki sauce. I went out to my car to eat the food, because I knew that it would not be hot if I went to where I was going, but unfortunately it was already cold. The rice tasted dirty, the tofu was grilled on only one side with little to no sauce, the salad was warm, besides the small box that they gave me on the side, and this miso soup is so salty I cannot eat it. The side of tofu that didn't get grilled was put down on top of a bed of mixed lettuce and cabbage and the Cabbage absorbed into the bottom of the tofu making it not very appealing. A couple years ago I got some sushi from here that wasn't very good but I figured because this was a different kind of food maybe it wouldn't be that bad, but I am definitely disappointed. I don't think I will be...

I’ve held back on writing this review for 2 reasons. 1.I really try to support small business. 2.the owners are extremely nice But - we went in, love the environment.i ordered a spicy ca roll . Before - with other waiters I’ve never had them ask how spicy I wanted it . This bald gentleman was the first to ask. I asked what he meant , he said on a scale of 1-5 I said 2 which to me . With a scale of 5 being the hottest and 1 being pretty weak,2 was a safe option with a Little bit of spice but still that good flavor .We ordered four rolls total, The spicy CA roll coming Out last. Which was my roll, I took one bite , and immediately realized that this was NOT a 2. It was more of a 10. My face immediately goes red . Husband and toddler in the middle of eating. And I felt like I was going to pass out . Drinking 2 whole glasses of water ,and the waiter is no where to be found while I feel like I’m DYING . 15 minutes later he comes by - and I immediately ask for the check. I was upset that I had to wait 15 minutes for more water also . And then clearly seeing I was upset/uncomfortable . Didn’t care to ask if our rolls were okay or not . I asked for to go boxes . And that took another 10 minutes along with another water I asked for for obvious reasons. I’m sorry to say that after this event , they’ve lost my families business . Sushi garden now has our business once a week. Which is sad , the wife at this location was always so nice . But I can’t trust the inconsistency if I’m gonna bring a...

Updated review as of 3/4/25 — customer service was great but today the food lacked overall. I also think it’s very misleading that the teriyaki dinner photo in the menu has a bunch of broccoli in the bowl yet when I got my tofu teriyaki dinner it was just a huge plate of 5 huge slabs of tofu (like seriously an entire block of tofu lol) and a few slivers of onion…nothing like I was expecting and I personally think the meal would be so much better with less tofu and more actual vegetables not just onions. I honestly expected broccoli since it’s in the photo, the dish was boring to say the least. My husband’s fried California roll was mushy this time, last time it was amazing so that was disappointing and the fried ice cream was also mushy today which is usually our fav…. Overall a little disappointed with today’s visit. :(

Old review: Excellent food. Everything came out fast & tasted great. The sever was very thoughtful and polite. He asked if I was vegetarian since I had ordered tofu & he made sure I knew the miso soup was not vegetarian. I really appreciate his attention to detail & how he cared! The tempura ice cream was by FAR the best fried ice cream I have EVER had. 10/10...

Decent place been wanting to try it out for a while. Came during lunch. Staff were really nice. Comfortable setting with good music. Prices are very fair. Food pros: Nice fluffy rice, Tempura was nice and crispy, Beef Teriyaki was tender, Salad and miso sides tasted as they should. The Super Wow roll had really good flavor. Food cons: Chicken teriyaki was way overcooked. Dark meat but dry and tough, slim ends were just unedible. The Tonkatsu was a very thin breading, like grounded panko, and was overcooked so dry thin pork slices with dark brown breading. Biggest issue was the Tuna Sashimi. Tasted like a step above Walmart/cheap chinese buffet quality light pink cuts, but not as good quality as some other places. I'll give the other fish a try next time if I decide to go back, but that tuna was a bit of a turn off.
