I really like the idea of a Lovesac sactional. Great versatility, appearance and quality. It is, however, the most expensive couch I have ever purchased (even on sale at 30% off), but I knew that going in. Here is why I give it two stars:
Each bottom piece comes with a long back pillow. Depending on how you arrange your sactional, this could leave you with extra back pillows for which you must purchase covers, even though you may not need the pillows.
Seat sections can be arranged in two configurations. They are rectangular, so they can be deep and narrow in width, or shallow and wider. It is great to have the flexibility, but if you use the "deep" configuration, you must buy additional, shorter back pillows. Our configuration (the Foursquare with deep seats) does not need the long back pillows. We ended up having to order two additional "short" back pillows. Our two additional "short" pillows, priced out at $630 at 30% off, with our custom fabric. (Note: Lovesac ultimately sold the to us for about $200 as a compromise for not discussing this prior to our purchase.)
When purchasing a sactional with custom fabric, Lovesac will not take it back if you are dissatisfied. They only honor their "satisfaction" return policy with standard fabrics.
In summary, I like the idea. The sactional looks great in our room. Putting it together is pretty straightforward, but I'd you have physical issues, it could prove very challenging or impossible. Lovesac needs to change their sales policy and separate the sale of the back pillows from the sale of the base units and let you buy what you need. They also need to make customers aware, up front, that "long" back pillows that come standard will not be useable in a "deep" configuration, and it will necessitate the purchase of additional back pillows. (They use a wooden model in the store. The salesperson can rearrange the parts to show different configurations. Deceptively, the model does NOT include back pillows, so the topic does not naturally come up.)
So, I have 4 seats, 4 back/arm pieces, 4 long back pillows that I cannot use, and two appropriately sized (for our configuration), small back pillows on the way. This all came at a price of just over $4,500 at 30% off, with an additional discount for the smaller back pillows.

It was a little tricky with Covid in the doors being locked much like other businesses and only having one couple in at a time. But we were still able to have a one on one presentation.
The Furniture Was delivered in about 4 days ,quicker than we anticipated. And all the pieces came in one trip. There were 2cushions ,that I thought was missing, for the chair. Which would be considered side cushions. Unbeknownst to me ,the 2 Side cushions did not come with the chair. Which surprised me and took me off guard. I was hoping for an easy chair in the living room but my wife did not want one ,so I settled for the extra deep chair with Lovesac. I was frustrated at first, but after working with (Jesse at Mayfair mall in Wauwatosa) After corresponded with me throughout the day and 1 days after we attempted to assemble the furniture. They offer a few options. I wasn’t thrilled with the first two. I wasn’t thrilled with the first two. Although in the end Jesse made sure to make it right and that I was happy, in the end she made everything right! I was very happy. By the end of the day she ordered two separate cushions for us. Read moreI just had one of the worst shopping experiences of my life at your Mayfair (WI) store. It started out well enough. I found the sectional and color I wanted and they wrote up the order. However, the gentlemen behind the counter wasn't able to find the correct discount. I told him it was 35% online and I would just order online. The woman said the price would be different online as it would be a different discount. So I continued with the order and paid in full. While this was in process I changed my mind and decided on the sloped back instead of the straight. They told me the rolled arms were not available with the sloped back. I said I would like the sloped sides as well. The woman then advised me that she was not able to change, nor cancel the order, and I would have to call customer service.
So I called customer service. The woman said she could change the order, but the side pillow for the sloped arms were not included. I asked her what the would cost and she said $350. $350 for 2 pillows?! I told her to cancel the order. She said she couldn't cancel it, but would issue me a refund which would take 7-10 days.
