Major missed opportunity
Mother’s Day has just passed …. My three daughters put so much into making that day special. Today is Friday. My oldest child just got paid
She told me to meet her at Mayfair’s Swarovski (one of my favorite places). To surprise me with some jewelry.
Her plan was to choose three pieces that would have totaled over $1000.
After she chose the first beautiful piece the sales lady , kept repeating over and over again, “is that it ?????? is that all?????? Are you ready to check out?…… she was so persistent. My daughter paid for the first piece just so the lady can stop talking…… and rushing her…..
As, she was going to choose a second piece…..
I sensed that my daughter was uncomfortable because the sales lady was totaling ruining her moment and surprise …….. I told my daughter that she had spent enough money….. I was grateful for her beautiful gift but it was time to go……
I wouldn’t dare allow my daughter to spend more money in an establishment where she was rushed along for no apparent reason……. (They were not closing, and there were no other customers in the store.)
