Waxahachie City councilman Travis Smith ripped off our family and told us go somewhere else and beg for sympathy money after we WORKED night and day for him at The Texas Theater at 100 main. Despite the asbestos finding (that was not disclosed to us while we where standing there unknowingly breathing it in as they busted up the concrete) we continued to work very hard in that building. Travis falsely accused us of stealing, which we did not do. He went on Facebook lying and defaming our name and we have proof it's a lie. This city needs better than Travis Smith, he said we got an advance last week of $500, we did NOT, what a liar! We have been paid nothing on this tile job. The owner Jon told us to come pick up the check, but gave my husband only $1200, when they owe $1750.
