The location for this cute, little coffee shop is in the heart of downtown Waxahachie; amongst friendly neighboring boutiques, it makes for the perfect area to spend your morning, afternoon, or evening at.
The staff is exceptional. The baristas are not just there to serve you your coffee, tea, or an occasional bakery good, they are there to make your day just a little bit better. They genuinely care about their customers, ask about his or her day, and want them to have the best experience that they can help provide.
The atmosphere inside the coffee shop is a wide space with a lot of natural light that makes the place feel warm and cozy. There is plenty of seating for people to enjoy their space without feeling crowded. It is unique feel because the furniture comes from their antique store as well (which you are able to purchase if you would like).
The coffee and tea...and well anything that you are able to consume... is WONDERFUL. I have never had one drink that was made poorly at Fresh Market. The baristas also are creative and have fun drinks that they create based on the month or season, which always make for a unique treat.
Fresh Market attracts the best and most friendly people that I have come across as well. This is just an added bonus and something that speaks highly of the community of Waxahachie itself. I love getting to spend time with perfect strangers, exchange a few words or sentences, and feel like I made a new friend by the end of the day.
If you are looking for a place that feels like you are drinking tea or coffee within the comfort of your own home, I strongly recommend that Fresh Market is the place for you. The overall experience is five star, ten out of ten, and all...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThere was an event going on tonight and it was advertised free coffee would be provided so of course there was a line. No problem, we waited. At 7:59pm the girl at the front said, āitās 8, we are no longer serving coffee.ā She was civil about it but there were about 10-15 people who had been waiting in line for 30 minutes. A customer voiced this and another worker said ānobodyās tipping us so no more coffee.ā Iām all about tipping but people can tip electronically now so how can you be sure they didnāt tip? Plus, she was so rude about it and had an attitude. The woman questioned it again and still more attitude was given and we were all told that we would not be served at all because Fresh was closed. There should have been more people working and the workers shouldnāt have let their emotions get in the way of service. Iāve worked in the food industry and workers are not entitled to a tip; itās a courtesy based on attitude and service. To punish everyone based on that was wrong. I didnāt see any rude customers or demanding people so the rude behavior was not called for. And the woman who voiced that we had been waiting was civil. Very poor experience. Iāve always loved going to Fresh and while the service hasnāt always been the friendliest, itās always been civil. So Iām disappointed in being treated this way, especially since we were not the ones who allegedly didnāt tip and we waited for...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI was in Waxahachie for a wedding and was in desperate need of good coffee- I'm from Minneapolis and usually surrounded by great coffee just about everywhere I go. Some local friends of mine suggesting Fresh Market, and man am I glad they did. This place was quality. Beautiful, eclectic, and very clean interior, full of mismatched furniture and oddball decorations. Reminded me strongly of a Louisville coffee shop (another wonderful coffeecentric city). The baristas were all helpful, welcoming, and informative. They even gave me a sample of their black coffee when I asked about it (it wasn't great, but I appreciate the gesture!). Between the four of us my group got a cappuccino, an iced caramel latte, a strawberry cream soda, and their bottled cold brew. The cap was quality, the soda was great, the latte was great, and the cold brew average (if a little on the weak side). I don't recommend their black coffee, at least not the ones I had, but these guys are probably the best bet you'll have if you're in Waxahachie and a coffee...
