First I would like to say, the store is great! I immediately found items I wanted to toke home with me! The lady who greeted us was kind- at first. My hands were full within 7 minutes of being inside the store and asked the same woman up front who greeted us if o could hold the items I wanted at the counter? She said yes. She saw I was interested in a vintage mixing bowl and offered me 10% off another booth with similar items. Great! Went on to the great vintage clothing spot at the back of the store and found a sweater I chose to buy. When I made my way back to the counter, I explained I wanted these items in my hand and changed my mind about two of the items I put at the counter earlier. She immediate said âoh well⊠we already rung you up.â She added âwe assumed you wanted themâ. I held my mouth back. Because I really wanted the sweater! And the 8.00 Pyrex missing bowl. She tired to correct herself and say, itâs ok⊠and acted as if the issue was putting all the tags back on the items. Which, also was most my problem. She acted as if a customer can NOT change their mind about items or add items to their purchase. I never told her to ring me up. I told her to hold them. So her fit was confusing and uncalled for. I did tell her, âwell, I would have held them but my hands were full and you donât have baskets here for itemsâ she then said âwell, just for next time, if you bring items to hold up front, we assume you are buying themâ I stayed quiet as there will NOT be a next time. Your assumptions should not fall on the customer. Work smarter not harder and donât throw a tantrum when YOU are faced with the reality that a customer can change their minds and then YOU have to back track your actions. The personality of this one is all blame-game. Definitely not the customer service thatâs needed in an...

This place has signs around rating it as the "best store in town" and I am really wondering what stale votes made this possible! Though they have some cool items in there, the staff is not. This grey-haired, poorly aging HEATHEN did not greet me and my mom as we walked through the door. Additionally, she made a long moment of eye contact with us TWICE. Once when we entered and again when we came around the corner from looking at a booth. NEWSFLASH, Waxahachie and other parts of the country do have Blacks and other Brown people. Us Muslims who wear hijabs also exist. Better to have some color, than a bunch of scaly, Caucasians roaming. This woman was exactly that. A rude and judgmental White, who really did not have room to do so herself. I would have spent money there, but, I will never give them my business. It's the principle of it all. Be nicer to people. I am from Plano and know that racism still exists, and that is fine, to each their own. But, please be nice if you own a public store! This is not the Jim Crow era. White...
