I would give zero stars if possible. I moved into The Ashton on 287 and submitted a bed bug work order within my first week. The request was marked “completed,” but no treatment was ever done, and I never received any follow-up. I ended up moving out early because the infestation made the unit unlivable — and they still charged me as if I broke the lease without reason.
Despite this, I kept utilities active through the final lease date out of good faith. I also submitted a 30-day written notice, which the lease allowed, but they still hit me with a $1,000 “No Notice Given” fee, along with cleaning charges, even though the apartment was dirty and smelled like weed when I moved in.
They’ve now charged me over $1,300. This place is poorly managed, and completely unprofessional. Future renters, beware — if anything goes wrong, they wont communicate property and still stick you...
Read moreThis place is a JOKE to say the least. The rent for such a run down property who has no employees in the office or to take care of maintenance is incredibly high for starters. I lived here for almost a year, One dumpster that is always filled to the rim. No one to return or answer calls for the office. I finally moved out after William the regional manager tried to illegally evict me due to me not taking his personal advances while living here, and it took me almost 3 months to finally hear from corporate after I advised I would be taking them to court. They did reach out to me after I contacted HUD and fair housing as well as an attorney, spoke with them and was never contacted again. Luckily me and my family have moved on to bigger and better things! But coming from an assistant property manager of 8 plus years. Stay away...
Read moreI moved in back in April and my apartment started growing mold from a leak, and after a week or two they finally moved me to a new unit. The day I moved in the A.C didn’t work , back on July 7th, it is now August 22 and my A.C is still not repaired but they fixed others except mine. The communication is really bad and I even talked to the corporate boss and still nothing has been done. My daughter is 2 years old and she is sick with a fever and it’s 83 degrees in my apartment WITH a window unit on. I pay way too much money in rent to be living in an apartment with out a proper working A.c. I really didn’t want to leave this review but clearly they don’t care that we are living in this type of condition, now if I’m late paying rent then there will be problems I bet you! Save your money and time do...
