My family and I came to town to see our extended family for the first time in years. We walked over from our hotel and went into the lobby. The first cashier saw us and walked to the back. The second looked up and let us know the lobby was closed, even though it was 630 and the doors were unlocked. We went outside and look for some sort of sign. There wasn’t one. We then tried to go through the drive through on foot to try and save the us some time. We stood there without a reply for about 15 minutes before we went back to get our car. We walked back to the hotel and then went through the drive through. We still had an awful experience with the staff... We ordered a chicken sandwich meal and the 6 dollar box. We wanted to drink a Pepsi and asked for a side of mac and cheese. Here’s what we got. A spicy chicken sandwich with 20 tenders and a box of fries. with no drink. We also waited in drive through for 10 minutes to even have our order taken. That first girl started our order by saying “cash or card” we said card and she said one minute. Then about 5 minutes later the man from the lobby started our order again and asked us the same thing. Although I am thankful for the enormous miscount of chicken. I wanted to try the Mac because we don’t have a Popeyes where I am from and the customer service was so bad it ruined the experience for us. Overall, we were so frustrated we decided it wasn’t worth the third trip after the error in our order. The experience was bad enough that I don’t even want to try the Mac and cheese at any Popeyes anymore. They have the worst customer service I’ve experienced in forever. Read moreOrdered online almost an hour ahead of time. Showed up exactly when I said I’d show for the pickup. I was told at the window all they had was white meat and I had to wait a minimum of 15 minutes for the dark, that I ordered ahead of time. I said sure I don’t mind. When I was waiting there was a car in front of me also waiting on their food and not a literal customer anywhere in the restaurant. I looked inside after 10 minutes through the window and not one customer, THREE employees sitting at tables playing on their phones, then seen what looked to be a cook walk out with gloves on and proceed to point at my car through the window waiting, and began chatting with the 3 other employees. There is now ANOTHER car behind me waiting for their order as well. It has now been 17 minutes since I showed up, and no food. I had the worst experience at the Popeyes by the college on South Georgia parkway and that’s why I began using this location instead. The last pickup was awesome, staff were very kind, but this time not so much. I’m very concerned that no one is getting their food at the window the entire time I’ve been waiting, nearing 20 minutes now for an order scheduled nearly an hour ahead of time online. Our order was simply a 5 piece dark chicken and two sides. It was not a large order placed last minute. I do now see customers entering the store with the 5pm rush, when i say rush I see open customer inside. we’re now 20+ minutes in on my wait, and the car behind me atleast 10...
Read moreOkay, I had to edit my old review and speak on this most recent trip at this Popeyes to warn y'all, do not go there! It is not just the quality of food now, but now they're stealing your money and not giving you the food you paid for. I went here to purchase food for family because I don't eat from Popeyes in Waycross GA, it came to almost $40..Now mind you, the little girl taking the order in drive through didn't tell me they had no biscuits, smh. Yet still took my order and waited till I got to the window to tell me. Only to then say they would give us strawberry biscuits...she pulled my car up and I sat 15 minutes before she came out to tell us it will be 4 minutes on our chicken but we just seen 5 cars get food and pull off. Okay, at this point I was like I'm just gonna wait but they didn't come out in 4 minutes, it was over 15...all together I sat in that drive through 45 minutes, I kid you not. They sent the food out by the cook who I told to let the manager know I would be contacting cooperate...I checked my bag, food was still missing, didn't give us drinks that came with the meals...so I went in and confronted the so called manager who I don't think was the manager. Only for him to say they don't even have strawberry biscuits, smh...like what?!!!! They didn't have cups either, clearly... You've been warned, they never have...
