Banana Republic — Local services in Wayne

DO NOT SHOP here!! I went here to buy a couple dress shirts that were on sale. When I got up to the counter the cashier told.me if I applied dor a credit card I would get 20% off. I declined and he said he could also get me a additional 10% for using the card. I agreed and told him I was going to purchase a few more shirts. When I returned he was with a customer so his manager helped me. After being approved and accepted for the credit card she told me that she would not honor the additional 10%. The other associate even told her thats what he told me. Normally I wouldnt care but being my FIRST time ever shopping at Banana Republic and being dealt with like this was just horrible customer service. Not only did the manager not care but when I told her to remove the additional shirts she replied with "Are you serious" yup I was and as I took her boss's number she continued to smirk and send me on my way. Never going back...

DO NOT BUY AT THIS STORE! I paid $60 for a dress on sale and it ripped at the seam after the second time I wore it. I just went back to the store to ask if they could fix it. I was told no, so I requested a refund. Since at first I couldn't find my receipt, the manager offered me a merchandise credit for the current selling price of $31. As upset as I was, I started rummaging through my purse and I found the receipt. When she realized how much I actually paid for it, she gave me an attitude and refused to return my money. She then told me to leave since the store was closing. This is the second BR item that has ripped on me. The first one was a blouse that I paid nearly $100 for. I used to love BR but now that I see how deteriorated the quality is and how horrible the customer service is, I will be sure to stay away and tell everyone I know. I have never experienced such...

I’m so upset about this store in general. Comparing this store to the garden state mall is small and lack of everything specially costumer service. I’ve been here multiple time and I’ve seen different people working here and the same rude and pathetic manager that was totally out of her senses and telling me to call the police and that I️ was rude in front of my kids because I️ was complaining about a even exchange and they wanted to pay full price when I️ paid 1/2 three days before. Costumers should not being treated as criminal in front of their kids for a “ rudeness??” Instead in garden state plaza they are so nice and profesional .
