Terrible Customer Service. I purchased clips from them Before yesterday for a total of $60.00, I PAID in CASH. I asked the lady who made the sale “if it doesn’t work I can return it right” she replied “yes, of course”. I was told it would solve my issue of having the charms on a bracelet move so freely. I got home, and it didn’t work. So I came back the following day to make the return.
On the receipt it states....
”...REFUNDS WILL BE ISSUED IN THE ORIGINAL FORM OF PAYMENT OR BY CHECK IN APPROXIMATELY 30 BUSINESS DAYS”
So you can imagine to my surprise they said that the only way to get MY money back was in the mail by check within approximately 30 business days.
Me: why would I get a check if I paid in cash?
Them: it’s our policy, cash returns may only be returned if it’s done on the SAME DAY OF PURCHASE.
Me: why wasn’t I told this BEFORE I made the purchase, or why don’t you have a sign up that warns your customers?
Them: it’s on the receipt.
Me: the receipt says “refunds will be issued in the original form of payment or by check in mail...” why doesn’t it say anything about “original form of payment, only on the same day of the purchase”
Them: we don’t make the rules we just work here.
Me: what if I don’t have a mailing address? What if I’m homeless how will I get my money back?
Them: ( looking stupid in the face )
Me: before I’m forced to accept and agree to this. Is this the only return option I have, and is this Your policy, or EVERY PANDORA’S Policy?
Them: I can check...
Me: Please, check because if it’s you I can go somewhere else. Instead of waiting over a month for my money. I will.
Them: (Insert Managers Name Here) is this just us or every pan...
Manager: it’s every pandora.
Me: okay since I have no choice.....( I had to proceed).
After leaving, I did what every logical Karen does and called Pandora Corporate. I got in touch with Alexandre, great guy. I asked about this “Communist Return Policy”. He explained that it’s not every store, and because that specific Pandora, in Willobrook Mall in Wayne NJ is Privately Owned, that’s why they make it hard for their customers to RETURN ANYTHING.    Read moreI had the greatest experience at Pandora this afternoon. Michele S. was the absolute nicest and most helpful salesperson. I even opened a Pandora credit card, which she helped me with and made the process so smooth for us. It was so nice to visit your beautiful store and feel so welcomed. I unfortunately can not say the same about the Pandora kiosk in Macy's. The young woman was rude and did not even look at us. There was no one there, and she told the young man to help us when she was clearly not doing anything. I was returning an item and under her breath she said to him she has to go to the store when she could've told me I was right in front of her it was like she was annoyed by my daughter and I . How dare she treat us so poorly. He told us to go to the other store and find the other item we were looking for. They absolutely had no interest in showing us anything or helping us. They were not personable at all, and I am disgusted and not used to being treated like this. Who are they to treat customers this way. Unacceptable, and I will never go there again. Thank goodness for the lovely woman at the Pandora store it definitely helped alleviate the awful experience we had prior. I hope these two young people are addressed for the way we were treated. But they made us wait outside the store 30 minutes, and coming in the store there has been a wait for more then 40 minutes. I am purchasing one charm ONE CHARM ! AND STILL WAITING IN LINE . The store manager comes to the floor for a few minutes does not ask if anyone needs any help, and leaves to the back. Mind you there is about 25 plus people here. There is another lady taking care of the list of people waiting to purchase what they need, and at the same time taking care of online pick up. HOW DO I KNOW THIS IS GOING ON ? I been here for the pass hour all you have to do is observe, I will never be coming back to this location because of the fact of the wait time and the store manager was no help so what does that tell me about this store.
