Sunglass Hut at Macy's — Local services in Wayne

Very dissatisfied with the Sunglass Hut within Macys. I purchased a pair of Prada women’s sunglasses (4/22/23) that were to be shipped to my address from 3-5 days. After 8 days, I called Sunglass Hut directly and was told no order of mine from Macy’s could be found. I called the store directly (Wayne) and was told by a male employee I would receive them the next day by UPC (??) I had to clarify if he meant UPS. Went to the actual store two days later (5/6/23) after still not receiving them. I was then told by the female in charge my order had been canceled. I had to ask why since I was not given any explanation. Response given was it may have been out of stock. (Yet they continue to show as available on their website.) And that their male employee may have not checked their tablet in regards to the response he had given me. I was told I had to call Sunglass Hut so that Macy’s could issue my refund.

Let me start off by saying this is the best Sunglasses Hut location to ever exist. I’ve never bought a pair of sunglasses in my life, but the dynamic duo saleswomen made the process so easy for me. Mel and Vanessa are one hell of a team. They didn’t treat me like a customer, they treated me like a friend. They listened to every little detail I gave them about my dream pair of sunglasses. Funny enough, I purchased a women’s pair of sunglasses as my first pair ever. They brought my vision to life and who knew my dream pair of sunglasses were waiting for me at the Sunglasses Hut in Macy’s. Sunglass Hut changed my life today. Meeting Mel and Vanessa reminded me that not all sales people are the same. They were quick to sell me an expensive pair of sunglasses, but when I returned with a clear manufacturer defect, they wouldn’t even take the time to look at my receipt.
