Green Hill Gallery — Local services in Waynesville

This was my first visit to Waynesville, NC and it definitely won't be my last. The morning started with a tasty Americano to-go from Orchard Coffee Co. then I headed to Main Street to find local art at Green Hill Gallery. I was greeted by the cheery welcoming owner who was eager to answer any questions I had - and I had many. If you collect pottery you'll have plenty to choose from, with an abundant collection of decorative and functional pieces in various styles and colors. I couldn't resist taking home a unique soap dispenser with attached bowl, in a gorgeous glaze, for my kitchen. The quality of the work represented here was very nice and the price point was quite reasonable. If I were local this would be my go-t gift shop. I will make it a point return to downtown Waynesville to revisit this gallery. The owner also referred me to Twigs & Leaves Gallery, which was greatly appreciated. Green Hill Gallery is my “go to” place for gifts for all occasions. Joyce has an exceptional selection of gorgeous pottery, jewelry, paintings and prints, fabric art and handmade cards. The gallery is thoughtfully arranged in a cozy and welcoming atmosphere and there is never any pressure to hurry. Joyce greets every customer warmly and sincerely and invites them in for a wonderfully eclectic artistic experience. My weakness is pottery and, to reward myself at Christmas time, I ordered a set of red Paul and Evelyn Ray pottery dishes to replace my forty year old ones. (I will try to attach a photo). Joyce handled everything for me including driving to Seagrove, NC to pick up them and some new pottery for the gallery…great customer service!
