The store was nice and clean with a lot of nice jewelry. The experience was weird⊠my boyfriend and I came into order an engagement ring and I told the girl such and showed and picture of what I was looking for.. I was given a HUGE book to look through with no direction and almost left because I was so overwhelmed. They called the owner (I think she was) multiple times with each question we had and they handed me another book and I found something close and ordered it. I came back when it was ready and the design was there, but the holes were filled in and it looked so cheap for an engagement ring. The picture I had looked at (and checked again) I could not tell this was going to be the outcome and was not informed. When I came to pick it up, the girl told me she knew it was going to come like that as she is used to the book and what it entails. We had told her from the beginning it would be an engagement ring, so I was confused why she thought that would be ok. So, I came in to order with a clear idea, but no knowledge of jewelry or rings or any such (hence all the questions) and left after seeing my ring later, upset and confused. I had to call and cancel, with my boyfriend having left a $50 deposit which is fine and understandable, I just donât know why they wouldnât tell me it would look so cheap for an engagement ring. My boyfriend has grown up in the area and insisted to look here first, so we were both really hopeful. The girls were super nice though! Just didnât seem to really know what they were doingâŠ
EDIT: the workmanship was nice and the gem was beautiful.
It was the unclear experience while choosing the ring and lack of clear communication from the store that was disappointing. And my request to see how it could be fixed (with the intent to pay for that mistake) was answered with âI donât know, we will get back to you within a week, and the cost probably wonât be worth it.â And to be honest, I didnât want a ring with gouged holes.
I do feel like clearly saying it was an engagement ring and the picture I provided for an example should have been considered when I chose a tiny silver picture with a white background.
A small business is still a business, and if anything, the expectation of time and customer service is higher, hence our choice to go to a small business. And we will find another small business...

It came out way over our expectations it is STUNNING!! No one will do any jewel work for us but SILVER TREASURES from this point...
