Purchased Samsung Galaxy Note 8 and a $49.00 glass screen protector which was installed by the person who sold me the phone. The glass screen protector fell off and could not be re applied. After waiting over 20 minutes to be helped, the person who spoke to me acted like I was a bother. Told me that because It was past the 14 day mark to do anything about it, I would have to go to the screen protector company and register the protector and see if they would replace it. I have had the phone 30 days. Then she said the problem is the Galaxy Note 8 has a rounded edge and the glass protector doesn't stick very well.. Guess they left that part out when they were selling me the phone and protector.
Asked to speak to manager who was not there. She called another person on the phone who was of no help. I spoke to this person on the phone and was basically told too bad, it been 14 days.
I suppose spending almost a thousand dollars and being an AT & T Customer for over 20 years does not count for anything.
Very rude customer service. Guess customer loyalty and service means nothing in todays business...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWas told to handle my new line addition online. Tried and was given the runaround by a woman who could not understand what i was asking. Absolutely ridiculous customer service in the store. Logan (the one that told me to do it online first) messed up the order on my new line twice taking it from a 5 minute process to nearly an hour. He then activated it porting over the new number instead of pausing it like he reassured me more than 5 times is all he was doing. The other phone would not be affected until I brought in new device. He ported it immediately. He left a woman taking care of a 90 year old man dying of cancer without a phone or access to the internet. I immediately called to ask why this happened and if he could fix it. He told me it was not his issue this is why it is easier to just do it all at once rather than put it on pause although he is the one that told me this was the best option for my situation. He then told me it is fine if the phone is hooked to wifi then it can be activated. Where is the internet access coming from if you deactivated her phone (her only...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreUnfortunately we experienced fraud at this store with a man named Eric. This is an authorized retailer (third party provider), not an actual AT&T corporate location. Eric added an eSIM card (second phone number) to my husbandās phone without our knowledge or consent, charging us an additional $34/month for the additional line. We didnāt realize until 10 months later when we went to a corporate location and happened to notice the extra line. The AT&T corporate location told us we were scammed, and recommended coming to them direct from now on. They said they deal with this often with authorized retail stores. Authorized retail stores make commission on opening new lines, so this was a commission scam.
We are currently trying to deal with reimbursement for being charged $340 for something we did not want, ask for, or made aware we were being...
