I purchased 2 chairs from La-z-Boy and isn't it ironic, the name of the store is Lazy Boy, because the repair person I got was just that! First of all, both chairs have given me issues. But the one I'm most concerned about is the one the electric recliner that the repair man came to fix that was making a very noticeable noise. He said he could find nothing wrong with it and I just found out that he documented he oiled the chair, which was not true, He never turned the chair in any direction that would allow him to oil underneath the chair. But what he did do was shook my chair more than once. I did ask him about that and he said it could have been tight. This is a chair that does get used but about 4 to 5 times a month at best. Now when I sit in it, it shifts back and when I use the electric recline it sounds like it's falling apart. You would think with those issues, I am a big person, but that is definitely not the case. Next the repair person did not tell me about the repair warranty of which he did not repair anything, what he did was broke it. And if I had been an untruthful person I could have called it in as a new issue. But Lazy Boy would not do anything to help me but want to charge me $200 for pick up and delivery and $175 per hour to fix it. I even tried to report the person that damage my chairs and they said they could not take my complaint. I could not believe that! Why wouldn't they want to advise their employee that this was reported. At least they would be aware to not try that again.
I would strongly suggest that before you purchase anything from Lazy Boy, think twice about it. Everything that I have purchased from them I have had to call back with issues. It seems they charge quality prices but that's not what you get. I would not invest my money with them anymore, those 2 chairs were custom made and they aren't worth anything, but cost me over $5300.

The sofa and love seat were finally delivered 16 weeks later but the ottoman was still not done. I had to go pick it up from the store myself a few weeks later. When my furniture arrived there were manufacturer defects that were noted by the delivery people. Also there were many strings hanging off the furniture that I had to clip to clean up the furniture and make it look finished. This was not the end of the world but not the quality I expected to go with the La-Z-Boy name or for the price I paid.
There is a hole in the sofa and a place on the back where the fabric has a little tear. Also the back cushions are under stuffed and look bad. I reported all of this to La-Z-Boy and they quickly had someone out to look at the problems. I even got a shipment of fabric to fix the couch. But now itās almost May and I have made contact with the company on multiple occasions and they just keep telling me to wait. This is not the quality that I expected from La-Z-Boy and now Iām stuck with $5000 living room set that looks like I got it second hand. So frustrating! I definitely wonāt we purchasing from here again!
So, I finally got someone out to my house to repair the sofa only to find out the piece of fabric La-Z-Boy sent had the same problem. I have called and left a message that this is not acceptable.
