Yummy Pho & Bo Ne Baybrook Mall — Restaurant in Houston

I am writing this post because my experience was horrible. I stopped by this place as it was my first time and I was wowed by the amount of people coming and going from this place. This much be a good place to eat with so much traffic. It was Sunday afternoon around 12:12pm when my wife and I stopped by to check this place out. I orders large bowl of Pho and some pork spring rolls. My wife ordered the sandwich and egg rolls. I get my spring rolls, her egg rolls, and her sandwich. We also had water and tea. I must say everything so far tasted excellent. The problem now starts. By 12:20, we get all the food and drinks but the bowl of Pho. We finished all the appetizers and she finished her sandwich. It is now 12:50 and I still have no t received my bowl of Pho. This whole time I am seeing people coming in, sitting down, and ordering food. Their food is coming out before mine. Finally when my wife finished her food, I said that is it lets go. No bowl of Pho and no refills. The excuse they gave me was, "we are busy". I am sorry but that is no excuse when people came in after me and got their food in a timely manner. As I walked up to the counter to pay for what I have and make a complaint, my bowl comes out and they are staring at me like why am I upset and do I not want it. For now, until either they make it right or I decide to try them again, this post will stay as is as a reminder.

EDIT: I went back since so many people told me to try again. The total time from getting out of car to paying was about 35 minutes. The spring rolls had some hard spots on the rice paper and wasn't warm from the pork I ordered. I still stand by the peanut sauce they use is excellent with a small bite of heat. I wish that could be sold as is :D. The soup came out and I noticed the abundance of proteins. For me this is great because some places only give you very few proteins when you choose more than 2. The noodles was cooked al dente and were very good while still cooking in the hot broth. The broth was well, it had a taste, like way to much fennel or cloves and not enough of the sugar taste to balance it out. It was still good though but not something I would do back flips for. I changed the ratings based on my taste and services. Now the real question is, would I eat there again. Well maybe if I was in the neighborhood and wanted Pho. Although there are a couple of places I can choose from in the area and that might be a challenge to pick this place again, but I would come back for that pork spring roll and...

I rarely leave reviews but for some reason I just felt compelled today. I just happened to be hungry and saw this cute little place as I was leaving an appointment nearby and thought why not. I was greeted upon entrance and seated immediately. The environment is bright, clean and calming. Busy yet, seeming to move with efficiency but again calmly with a positive vibe. All employees moving swiftly and in sync to address the clientele’s needs. Very clean, orders taken as soon as you’re ready. All servers attentive though not overbearing with smiles on their faces. The menu has a good variety of Pho and Ban mi my faves but so much more. Including some wonderful and healthy looking drinks such as coffees, juices teas and smoothies. I included a photo of one the easily accessible menus. I am still enjoying the music at just the right volume and most positive vibe. My goodness, I almost forget to tell you about the food. My dish was hot, flavorful, served quickly and more than I could eat. Prices are very competitive as well. I will definitely be returning with friends and family. Came for lunch. Food is always delish. I love the short rib pho. It is so tender and tasty. The portions are big so if you want to try many items, need to bring several people to share. The grilled pork spring rolls are really good. Dipped in the peanut sauce so flavorful. It's a must. The staff are very helpful and accommodating. I requested extra jalapeños for pho and the sandwich and they pre-layered in the sandwich and gave an extra side of jalapeños at the table. I could eat as much as I wanted. Awesome. The grilled pork sandwich was so good. It was full of flavor from the grilled pork combined with the pickled carrots and cilantro (and lots of jalapeños) and the bread itself was freshly toasted to a nice crunch made the sandwich perfect.
