WOW. I had a fantastic experience at this outlet of Ann's Bra Shop. The I-70 bulletin boards inspired me to check out the store during a short visit back into the St Louis metro. It was a polite pleasure when I walked into the shop that the 3 sales assistants didn't bat an eye or do a second take. [I'm a crossdressing trans woman, and dressed for the occasion]. I didn't need more bras, but I was interested in breast forms and inserts, so Patti became my professional fitter. Loved Patti. She was a pro from the start. No weird smirks or jokes about me being TG. No air of discomfort. Patti discreetly took me to a private fitting area where she conducted a thorough exam. Measured my chest and breasts all the way around, and went about showing me several prosthesis products in which she thought I'd be interested. The solid silicon forms were more weight, mass and cost than I bargained for. She stuck with me, however, and found just the right inserts that fit and raised my bust line. These forms are a huge improvement over the small petal inserts I had been wearing. Patti, the fitter, was more than just a good sport working with an unusual customer. She was a true professional who made me feel welcomed and appreciated to do business there. I give Patti and the entire shop the highest possible praise and recommendations. This place has lots of bras and sizes. The sale clerks are very helpful and respectful of your person. The store carries only a few other types of intimate apparel. It definitely specializes in its product.

The only reason for 4/5 stars was that it still didn't have much in my size and type in stock. Nothing fit me perfect, just semi-comfortable, and the one possible bra that I bought, I did not like after several wearings. When the spare bra that I ordered came in, I immediately took it back and they gave me a refund on the product. Their return policy is printed clearly, honored, and there was no intense questioning or further sales job in the process. I was hugely disappointed in not finding anything for me. But I still would recommend the store for its quality merchandise, friendly sales help, not pushy clerks (though I did feel a bit rushed,) and spelled out return policy.

Several things to note, this particular branch is not open on Tuesdays or Sundays, and they are only open until 6:00 most evenings. The store is easy enough to find and welcomes men only into the waiting area where there is a tv for entertainment. All "rules" are respectfully stated...

Staff was rude and unhelpful. Walked in and right out with that attitude. Edited to respond to owner That is not at all what happened. I went in the Wentzville store asking if you had a certain kind of bra and that I needed a fitting. The woman at the register wrinkled her nose at me, paused, and proceeded to say we don't sell push up bras. She didn't offer anything besides that, not even a fitting. I was astounded at the COMPLETE lack of customer service. I ended up calling the Chesterfield location a couple days later and a very pleasant woman told me that they didn't have much in stock and would likely have to special order.
