I really do love this park. It feels safe. It has good walking paths. The scenery is beautiful. There's never really trash laying around. Everyone is nice and friendly. However, I think it's sad that dogs can no longer go on the grassy fields that aren't used as often for sports like the turf fields are. Apparently it's because people don't pick up after their dogs but I see plenty of dog waste all throughout the other grassy areas and even on the sidewalks. An open field would be great for us to run around with our dogs on longer leads especially considering how many more apartments are going up and there's not many places for dogs to run. I hate the fact that the boardwalk has been closed for over a year and doesn't appear to be getting fixed. And I don't like that the story book walk through had to...

This is an amazing park with so many cool features. They even have several attractions for handicapped or disabled children. I even enjoyed playing on some of the attractions. They also have a sound area that is a lot of fun, but it was under renovation when I was there last. There are several very nice soccer and football fields also. They are both regular and artificial turf. In addition to these, they have a great pond to gaze at or walk around. The paths are paved. One point to note is that parking can be very congested on days of sporting events....

I will say the outer appearance of this park is spectacular in regards to the layout but travel down to the lake and as the saying goes, “the buck stops there “. Absolutely terrible, algae at least 10 to 15 yards from the banks all around makes it impossible to fish…grass halfway cleared to the edge of the water even if it was fishable and trash, I would say floating but again the algae is so thick its just laying atop. Unfortunately many of the parks that contain what is supposed to be fishable waters in Wentzville...

Nice playground tucked away in the heart of Wentzville. Rubberized tiles and the equipment is conclusively designed for children of all abilities. It has a sports theme, but my granddaughters love it here, too.
