I went in there to look today because I said "hey I like pets, I HAVE pets, and they look local maybe they'll have something I normally wouldn't find." And we needed something from the computer store next door. I walked in and it was super crowded. Not with people but just stuff everywhere. Small Tanks with no toys (except maybe a tube) on the floor with hamsters and Guinea pigs in them. Nothing to stimulate them and the bedding was incredibly dirty. They have two sun conures crammed into a tiny cage I wouldnât even keep two budgies in. Not to mention they were crammed in the back of the store with barely any light, barely any toys, and looked absolutely terrified. I saw a TANK of rats at the bottle of a shelf also in a dark room. NO toys not even clean bedding. And while a lot of people think âitâs just snake foodâ you donât want to feed your snake sick pets. I could hear at least ONE of the maybe 15 rats shoved into a tiny tank sneezing and probably suffering from a respiratory infection. I have rats as pets and thereâs no way Iâd buy rats from here. And if I HAD a snake I sure wouldnât be feeding them a gross not taken care of rat from here. Iâd never get anything from here after what I saw honestly. I wouldnât trust that whatever I brought home wouldnât get my animals sick. I donât recommend this place if you care about the animals youâre...

When you are keeping a Congo African Grey in a English Budgie cage with no toys, and cheap bird seed you really need to quit selling birds because you don't know what you are doing. Seriously a Grey in a little parakeet cage. The bird couldn't even half way open it's wings. I have had to help with rescues, and rehomes from so many places like this trying to make a quick dollar off expensive parrots. Then not only do they not know how to take care of a parrot, but then these poor owners who buy them end up giving the birds horrible lives because they think they are doing right by what the people here say. Birdcage Warehouse in St. Peters was shut down by the state a few years ago because of how they were treating birds, and what they were pulling business wise. This place isn't any better. Don't get a bird from these people please you are doing a disservice to you and an animal that...
Read moreWent in yesterday to look at freshwater fish for our tank. Lots to look at, but our trip there was put off by poor business ethics and very unprofessional attitudes. After walking around a bit a teenage girl that worked there finally asked us if we needed anything. Then short time later a guy and another girl came thru a door in back, again asked if we needed anything, with a strong smell of weed on them, the girl looked like she had been sleeping. Then the rest of the time the teen girl was on her cell phone holding a conversation with a friend and paying no attention to anyone else in the store from them forward. I had been referred there and finally got in there, just to be disappointed by unprofessional business practices, that on top of most of the aquatic prices are twice local chain stores prices. Won't be...
