My family and I have been going here for years and LOVE this place so much. We also renewed our 10 year anniversary vows here yesterday. I'm giving a 3 star because this year they started a unlimited amount of people to the pub crawl where it was normally around 20 people yesterday it was around 50 people it was completely rushed we weren't able to finish the one game we started. The wait to gets drinks at each bar was like 30-40 mins the guide was amazing and doing the best he could with such a large crowd to take care of. At the 2nd bar we were told that they were running behind schedule because of the large group and after 30 minutes waiting in line for a drink that we would have to leave with the group and not get our drinks until we waited in line again at the next bar 2 times or we could wait and catch up. We normally do jokes and songs along with 3 games. Yesterday we couldn't even get through one game other than get our drinks. Was the worst pub crawl experience I've had. The host felt really bad and he could tell that the whole group was really disappointed with how everything played out. Next time if they keep the unlimited amount of people for the pup crawl I'm going to do a BIG pass and just save my money to buy more beer and bar hop with our group of friends.

So fun!! An interesting and fun walk back through time! Live shows happening throughout the day with a live jousting tournament 3x per day. The washer women put on a hysterical show. Make sure you see them! Petting zoo was a highlight as well - you can hold a falcon or an owl or an alligator for $10 extra. Costumes are encouraged! A very entertaining experience and not overpriced.

It's a good time as long as you aren't in a hurry, there is something for everyone. The food options are quite limited in variety but everything we had was satisfying and wasn't terribly expensive.

Tried to have a day away at an event I had attended many times in another city. I took picture of what I thought was something fun to do at the event, but like so many places you cant participate unless you post things online. Personally I do not do facebook or other sites previously represented as safe way to socialize with people. I care about others I know, knew, consider friends, so I wont "sell" peoples info or their families info to companies that would be so reckless in this day and age to risk the privacy of kids and adults alike by not following the clear warnings readily available what happens frequently with scammers hacking accounts, online bullying of kids, stalking or all your contacts, group members, friends list info to be exposed using social media, seems to me and I have 2 years at least of trying to help stop online victimization, but I cant file a police report in STL from my experience without a prescription for phychiatric medications being forced on you in the booming Behavioral Health Industry courtesy of fake finnancial assistance applications created without your knowledge so "charitable" bidder, private donation can pay for that trip and write it off on their taxes too? Not sure who profits from that police report never to be filed and your robbed while your away. Just my two cents. I cant stop cybercrime and I have not spoke with any agency that even took documents, thousands Ive had that was provided as evidence of provable hack effecting to many people to count, so now extortion is the new normal. I can tell you those i know who paid, just tipped off who to target and still lost what they were trying to save or prevent. My community has just given up or capitalized on the fact they could make a quick buck or build a much stronger criminal organization in a city with a police force that decided to spend time on non work related personal issues while on the clock. Out of hand when you dont refocus when emergency or for example fire happens and you no longer show up at all until 4 buildings are gone when your across the street. I guess that concerning me is delusional thought process and if cbt therapy can change the way i see the world around me somehow what is witnessed by blocks, has insurance claims, cell phones documenting everything can be explained away as a delusion or help me cope with fear of being witness to lives, dreams, ability to support ones family lost, because you could not get the fire out or defend yourself without having to do things your against that you never recover from even if it was nessesary or you thought at the time it was only option. Be very aware of where money around you is actually paid by and you are not donating money without a receipt of ecactly what and who it went to with authoriztion to personally follow up on the result. Yeah its a cliche we all know but after all You Paid For It. Word of Mouth worked just fine when a business or group built a reputation on trust in their product, service or event and responce when problems were brought to their attention care. I rarely get out anymore so alot of feedback that is not only your event, was just disapointed in experience at event I had experienced as back to simpler times in all the years I attended in...

This whole thing has gone downhill since it was sold to the company in Minnesota.

The buildings are falling apart, the jousting is essentially all talking, turkey legs not even seasoned.

It's a shame that so many people put their hearts into this just to be treated as garbage from the management.

I've heard numerous stories of vendors being left out to dry when their building gets burnt down, or their contracts switched at the last minute.

These people are being paid $20 a day to service the event and you can tell they desperately need the tips.

I, as a customer, really do not appreciate being harassed by virtually everyone for tips.

Whoever owns this event needs to start paying their people more.

Good people keep this thing going but it needs a massive overhaul.

If the vendors and characters aren't being paid properly then how is anyone going to enjoy it?

Yet every year it just gets worse.

A positive note: I did notice that there were sign language people at almost every event though. That was...
