Gorditas Doña Lula — Restaurant in Weslaco

Not one to write reviews but this place had horrible service. I ordered with my family me being the first one to order however they didn’t jot it down. I am thoroughly disappointed with the experience. Not only was my order incorrect, but the wait time was incredibly slow.

When the food finally arrived, it was not what I had ordered. The staff seemed disorganized and inattentive, and when I pointed out the mistake, they were unapologetic and unhelpful. The overall atmosphere was chaotic although there wasn’t anyone else ordering, and it was clear that the team was not equipped to handle even a moderate amount of customers.

I understand that mistakes happen, but the combination of slow service and incorrect orders made for a frustrating dining experience. I hope the management takes steps to address these issues, but I will not be returning to...

We came here yesterday morning and today morning. We liked the food yesterday so we decided to come again. We spent $50+ yesterday and today we spent $40+ on the menu at the register, it says family combo $35 10 gorditas of your choice + 5 beans and cheese + 3 drinks. We go with family combo, but the guy the cashier said we can’t pick whatever we want, it is not your choice, but on the menu it clearly says in both English and Spanish that “your choice of 10 gorditas” but like if it is not your choice then why say that on the menu??? Literally also to mention the customer service is just not okay, no welcome no thank you literally for real fr. We love their gorditas but with what happened today I don’t think we will stop...

Very delicious food you can’t go wrong with what ever option you go with and good prices. We did had a bit of a situation with my partners food but they were able to remake it right way. The gentleman who was there was very friendly but the ladies (specially the manager) not as much that is why I gave it a 4 stars. I might just be used to a more friendly environment but if you work in a customer service environment you should at least pretend you like people 🤷🏻‍♂️. We didn’t give any problems with the situation we had with the food so that should’ve been a sign that we we’re just trying to enjoy our food.
