Sarah Shepard was my Therapist after having had surgery done on my left wrist. At that time, wrist movement was limited in all directions and caused pain even being in an arm sling. She took the time to look over the incision and ask questions about the incident and surgery. She explained the plan she was going to set in motion to get normal wrist movement back and took extra care and treatment to make sure the scarring was treated as well. During the 2 appointments each week, she made sure that exercises were completed each visit to insure movement was improved little by little with as little pain as possible. I admired her strictness and attentiveness to my 'shortcut attempts', my 'test the limit attempts' ('shame on me') and she corrected them to benefit me in the long run. I looked forward to our sessions and enjoyed our talk about each others interests, without hindering her session goals or my progress. I couldn't have asked to have a more understanding, concerned and dedicated therapist than Sarah. There was no doubt that the hour I was with her, my success at rehabilitation was her only goal. If I had a question which she couldn't answer, she looked it up in a book and showed me illustrations to better explain her answer. My family and especially I sincerely thank Sarah for her dedication in making this therapy as successful as it was. I now have full wrist movement back after your hard work Sarah! You are awesome! Forever grateful Sarah..... Thank you, thank you, thank you! Miss our talks and hoping you are staying healthy and.... your cats are doing good as well... Thankful we met.
Caran Gottlieb I met while Sarah Shepard was my Therapist for my wrist. We sometimes shared the same space with Caran, and I even had a session or 2 with Caran when Sarah was busy with another patient. After having tendon surgery on my left thumb, I started having sessions with Caran to help get back thumb movement back. I had limited thumb movement any way I moved it and the pain was intense whenever I tried. Caran spent time asking questions, taking thumb movement measurements and treating the scars on my hand to heal properly throughout the weeks she treated me. She outlined an exercise plan she was going to implement there and assigned home exercises as well. After putting me through 'the paces' at a session, she made certain I was OK. Her amount of dedication to help things get back to normal for me was only exceeded by her concern for me not experiencing a lot of pain. There were a few sessions that I would need to take some Aleve when I got home, and even after doing the exercises at home. Looking back....those were the exercises that helped the most. Caran is amazing at what she does. Her experience has helped me get back more thumb movement than I thought was possible. My attempts with Caran to 'test her limits' were greeted with strict admonitions that I deserved. She had my best interests at heart and those interests benefited the end result. Sincere thanks Caran for all the work you put into getting me back to where I was. I enjoyed our talks and discussions and miss them. I was truly blessed to have you and Sarah as my Therapists. So to even everything out, you BOTH brought me to tears some days, but my wrist and thumb are so much better for you and them. Caran, I'm hoping you have your own Kayak next time you go.

Read moreI had rotorcuff surgery along with other issues fixed at the same time. My physical therapy team of Larissa Sabatoes, PT, and Ross Cozzo, PTA, showed expertise and care from day one! From the first assessment, and the hard work and dedication to their profession, they listened to me explain my concerns at the start of each appointment and tweeted the session and take home exercises accordingly. Slowly but surely the physical therapy sessions and the dedication to do the work at home and I’m reaching 100% of my expectations. My final session was full of my questions going foward and I received all the answers and information I needed to confidently go on, on my own! Highly recommend...
Read moreThis office is great. Kathy and the other ladies at the front desk are warm and welcoming. They remember patients by name which is pretty amazing because it gets pretty busy there. I broke my shoulder in May and have been working with Carter for Occupational Therapy. He is so nice, funny, and very patient. He answers all questions you ask and explains the answers so you know what’s happening. He’s been very helpful with everything from the day I met him. In the past when I had issues with my knee and another shoulder, I worked with Ken. He has a very calming, kind personality and he will make you laugh too. He is very smart, and will explain everything to you in an easy to...
