Leonidas Chocolates Café — Restaurant in Wesley Chapel

I was reviewing the review I wrote yesterday because I wrote it over the phone. Now I'm on the computer, which is a little easier. I couldn't find it. I don't know if, as I've read in other comments, they delete bad reviews, but I understand they shouldn't. It's not meant to offend; it's so they can somehow correct whatever bothers the customer. Like others, I'm a regular at this place. I loved the space, the thoughtfulness of the service, the attention to detail they put into each service, and, above all, the background music that matched the place. However, the last two times I've been, I've had a very bad experience. That is to say: lukewarm cappuccino, a dirty or spilled cup, the tea is now served in a cup without a saucer, loud music and a genre that's really impossible to hear, and that doesn't match the place (they used to play jazz), and the cappuccino is bitter, like when they let the coffee boil too much. I've been meaning to review this place for some time now. We've been to Leonidas about 8 times now and have tried the chocolate, a dessert, ice cream and coffee. It's always spotless in there - probably the cleanest store at the mall. The coffee is Illy and it's amazing - doesn't compare to any popular brand at all. The ice cream - I'll pass but I'm not a soft serve person. The chocolate sauce topping was to die for though. I've had the hazelnut dessert twice now and it's one of my favorite desserts ever. It has different textures throughout and not too sweet. They get shipments in every Wednesday so the freshness might vary depending on the day but both times I've had it, it's been delicious. A place I took too long to explore but eventually did and it was so worth it.. The cleanliness is top notch.. The menu is so appetizing. They have a lot of variety. Whatever we ordered was delicious and came served on an elegant crockery plate. I ordered the hazelnut cake slice which was so scrumptious … loved it The baklava variety are rich , sweet , flaky and extremely yummy. My kids had a Oreo slice cake, it’s one of the best Oreo cakes I’ve ever tasted.
