GameStop — Local services in Wesley Chapel

Lousy customer service. Purchased a PS5 bundle. All items were full retail. Determined that one of the games was not age appropriate for my son. Asked to swap for an age appropriate game. Online customer service said they could not do it but I could take it to store and they would likely do it. Drove 30 min and was told no. Again, there was no discount associated with the bundle. I paid full price for each item. Game has not been opened. I just wanted a game my son could play. This kind of customer service is what drives people away from doing business with you and going to the big box stores. Now I will spend the next 30 days posting how unpleasant my experience has been with Game Stop rather than sharing how thrilled I am that I was able go get a PS5 for my son...

I'm officially done with Gamestop!!! Been shopping here for years, they know me at the store, I've always been a regular customer but no more!!! I went to trade in a system for store credit and bare in mind they have all my power up reward information, they've taken a lot of trade ins from me over the years, and even know me by name when I go there, but back to my point! I went to check out and I forgot my wallet at home so they told me they couldn't do the trade in!!! Even know they know me and I have my Dl info memorized they wouldn't do it! So ultimately I had to call my daughter to bring my I.D for information they already have!!!! I'm so done with Gamestop as a company!!! If you ask me them going bankrupt isn't happening...

I’ve had exceptional experiences with both my local store in Wesley Chapel and the online ordering experience.

Although this location didn’t have the game in stock I was looking for, one of the team members at the store offered to look up locations where the game was in stock without me asking, then printed off a list for me of the locations. Phenomenal attitude and helpfulness.

I didn’t feel like driving 30+ minutes away so I ended up placing an online order. The game arrived 2 days before the expected delivery date, which falls in the same time frame as my Amazon Prime orders.

For anything gaming related, GameStop has cemented itself as my #1 choice!! Power to...
