I don't think your employees is capable of human interaction. I told him I was there to buy a 2000 point army and a box to put it in. I said I didn't have enough space to paint and was going to be playing with a gray pile of shame for a while. He tried to sell me the basic box of starter paints. I told him twice I wasn't interested in the starter paint set, even if I was buying paints today. He threatened to kick me out of the store for not wanting to buy 7 jars of paint my army didnt need and saying I was planning on the slapchop dry brush method. I listened to his mommy issues as he tried to force me to respect his authority. He showed me 3 miniatures. One was painted in the only method you can paint if you by the starter paints and told me I should have a higher standard than that miniature so I should buy the paint set that produces mediocrity below my standards.

If only Stan or Kyle were working today, I wouldn't have gotten a facetious passive aggressive lecture on respecting...

It's a Warhammer store, so selection of warhammer stuff is good.

Unfortunately the staff was very opinionated on what we should buy. We tried to make it very clear that we were only playing casually and had NO interest in competitive play or optimal armies.

My friend that was with me and was trying to get into the game for the first time was incredibly confused because every time they would pick up a box the staff would tell them 10 reasons why the faction was bad (competitively) or that the faction was too advanced for them and to pick something else.

I understand that the staff want to give advice and I will say that they were incredibly knowledgeable, they absolutely knew more about the game than I, but if I tell you we only want to play for fun and that we just want cool looking armies, then leave us alone, let us pick whatever we want and stop giving us the meta report on every single...

As someone that was looking to get into the hobby months ago. I finally went by and was blown away with how helpful and knowledgeable Jared was. He helped me get introduced to the hobby as a whole. There seems to always be people building, painting, or playing everytime I have come by. Great folks and a great shop to support and keep the community and hobby going strong. For anyone even considering the hobby, just stop by and take a look around. The shop is a great place to see tons of models, get supplies and tools, and pick up books to dive into the lore.
