ALDI — Local services in West Chicago Township

For me, Aldi is that step down from the larger neighborhood grocery stores, plus lower prices which I can never complain about. I'am always grateful to have one of these within my neighborhood because I can find the typical things that I normally purchase from a supermarket, plus it's a much more relaxed environment compared to the larger supermarkets.

As for this location it's no different than any other Aldi locations throughout the city, and It serves the same purpose and the prices are no different. I haven't been let down yet when I visit this location because I can always find the foods that I eat and crave, so I cannot complain. Luckily, if there are any issues there is a slightly larger grocery store named 'Market Fresh Foods' that sits right next door.

Lastly, my recommendation is that if you have one of these in your neighborhood, use it! Plus bring your own bag or you will be limited to their selection of bags, which cost! Many Aldi locations from my observation are easy access from bus and train stops if you do not have your own...

I love shopping at Aldi’s stores but this is my least favorite every time I go there the check out lanes are very long and the staff is rude they throw everything in the cart I put a box or bags and they don’t put it in there and literally throw everything the only thing I noticed they were careful was with the eggs gave them in my hand I appreciate that, but has no express checkout or self pay and I rather pay myself is the only Aldi and grocery store near the area so was very convenient but decided not to use this location due to only one cashier open they when they see the line at almost the end of the shelf’s someone comes but still have to wait for them to log in and get ready. Owner of this location please invest in self check out at least 3 all of the other locations has like 7 plus one open cashier even when I go there just to buy milk and eggs the waiting line will be long that I prefer to drive more far to another location to the one on kostner and north ave and has the self checkout for a...

TONS of really great Gluten-Free options at a fraction of typical grocery store prices. Fresh produce (although no fresh leafy greens except minimal packaged selection). And I love that there is a familiar layout at every Aldi, even if it is opposite of traditional markets. Love the bonus Target-knockoffs and home item selection surprises every time though wish there was consistency. Very calm shopping experience on off hours. The prices here are low which means don't come here and expect a full grocery store experience. Unusually high penny prices for plastic bags so bring your own bags! Bottom line: I really appreciate the all-around simplistic and affordable shopping experience, and I highly recommend this Aldi which is also right next to a traditional grocery store if you need to supplement with non-Aldi items....
