Incredibly unprofessional receptionist and scheduling staff. Calling too close to open or close will result in nursing staff either putting you on hold indefinitely (call too close after opening) or hanging up on you within two rings (calling too close to closing time). After not having received a single word of response from anyone in the patient portal for over two weeks in regards to surgery scheduling and insurance issues, attempting to contact our care team directly is incredibly frustrating and nearly impossible. This office makes it harder, and the employees within are absolutely incompetent. Experience within the office is odd, timings are all messed up and everything takes about three to four times longer than originally stated (but that's normal I guess) which also seems to be a major fault of the scheduling staff (the director has complained about this to myself and my fiance in a visit, we're both salon receptionists so we understand the job). Recommend a complete re-training of entire front desk staff, as "not wanting to answer the phone" isn't exactly an option you get when you're on the clock. Furthermore, after indirectly calling out this behavior to whomever I EVENTUALLY spoke with, she seemed to get very upset at my disapproval of this behavior, and did her best to cut the conversation as short as possible. I wouldn't recommend this location 1309 S Halsted. Rather the location on taylor street. This location is unprofessional, old security lady plays games with covid questions when people are there for serious matters/issued. She needs to be replaced to a site where importance isn't of the essence. Clinic coordinator there is no good and no help. Rude and dismissive. Location needs new staff that knows what they are doing and handle matters when it comes to people's lives and cate. This location forgets the patient's are the reason why your employed there.
