I don’t like less than good reviews. I am just surprised by my experience. I was excited to find a particular piece of furniture. Although, I was advised that the color I wanted was in the back and with only one person putting furniture on the floor, I wouldn’t be able to see it, I still really wanted it…even with feeling like no one cared if a purchase was made or not. Felt more like a bother. I still went to the front to make payment. BUT…not for a $130 delivery charge. I asked the employee about the charge and she just stated that she didn’t know of any furniture store that didn’t have a delivery fee. I agreed…but just not for $130. I am about 12-14 miles away and a little further from Economy Furniture Store in Batesburg. I advised her of their delivery…no budge, no negotiation, ok…no deal. Guess where I found a much better piece for a $50 delivery charge and happy greeting smiles & conversation? Economy! Delivery is also free at Economy if you spend a certain amount. Can’t say much about Kimbrells delivery fee. It is what it is, even if it costs the loss of a sale, but customer service sure isn’t what...

Heydy was very pleasant, to work with and to work with my schedule as I in the process of getting my floors refinished and painting my living room... I started out with purchasing 2 couches and a coffee table , then I got to thinking about end tables so I went talked with Heydy and she worked out a deal I couldn't refuse. They I decided not to use the old lamps I had coz were entirely different color of the tables , so I then purchased the 2 lamps that were a match the the tables , and again Heydy made me another offer I couldn't refuse. I've told a friend of mine who is looking for furniture to go to kimbrells and ask for Heydy and tell her that Robert Smith sent them to see her ... I will keep spreading the word of how well I was treated by her and the staff.. Wanted to load a picture of the furniture but there's no way I can do it...    Read moreI had been looking everywhere for some living room furniture that I liked. I went to Big Lots, troved through Amazon for forever, American Freight you name it. I could not find anything that really caught my eye. Either everything looked too cheap or either too fancy for my natural aesthetic. I found my couch and end tables at Kimbrells. What sealed the deal is the excellent customer service I received from Ty. He gave me all of the info I needed to be confident with my purchase. We also had a lot in common so I felt like I was just shopping with a friend. Naturally, the worst part about buying anything is parting with your money but I even had some good laughs at check out with Precilla. It was definitely a great buying experience. Customer service is a lost artform nowadays but it's definitely not lost...
