Oh wow, well first of all I didn't know that was the formal name of this non-descript, trusted business that quietly opened on historic State Street in West Columbia oh I'd say not too far removed from the not too distant days when the old New Brookland Tavern still had a real Santa Clause mannequin outside of one it's outside porticos. Ahhhhh yes, I remember it now 🌎there was not a single living thing that traversed the open streets on this side of the Congaree River basin.... And I went to the quiet little trading company just the other day - and could have stayed for hours. Mr. Taylor will take care of you there. And if you want my personal advice; I'd bring SILVER. You know like a rhinestone Cowboy or even a Midnight Mover. You stick with people and places you can trust. Not TRUIST, it's spelled, "trust." It keeps things simple. I took a friend to State Street Trading Co, who - at the time - had recently moved to the Midlands, and they were THRILLED with their purchase! There are so many unique items in this shop, and the owner is delightful – and she is incredibly helpful because she knows the artists and the background info of the items in the store!!! I have also purchased gift certificates for employees rather than give specific gifts that may or may not be truly appreciated or enjoyed. The owner of this shop, Lainie, was super sweet. The shop also was unique, filled with beautiful hand painted artwork and decor. I highly recommend you visit!
