Jordan Creek Mall — Local services in West Des Moines

It was so crowded that my husband ended up going back to the car. But not before he had some kiosk worker give him this sales pitch on buying not one but THREE fingernail care kits. If I had been there, I would have had no problem telling this young man HELL no. It was so overly priced. How my husband fell for this I'll never understand. But I guess we have some ladies in our family getting one. 🤣 Every store was very crowded. The crowd made it hard to have a good shopping experience. There was very little sitting area in the shopping area. I was near Game Stop. I needed to sit down and check my lists of gifts I needed to buy. There was one bench, being hogged by some man and an area that had 2-3 tables. I sat down at one of the tables. At one point, I swear we were having a mild earthquake. 🤣 The table vibrated so badly from all the people walking by. 😱 I finished up my shopping and left as quickly as I could. I doubt I'll be back. Today I went with my daughter, I was in the play area and as usual there were many children, I have a 7 year old girl with autism and a mother who was there with a small child asked us to leave because my daughter was having a behavior that she didn't like, she even called the security at the mall and he asked us to leave, I find the way they treat people with AUTISM humiliating, I understand that the security was just doing his job , but how poorly trained They are there to face that type of inconvenience. In short, I think that the policy of the shopping center does not go hand in hand with people with disabilities, I am not talking about preferential treatment but about having coerence when approaching the people...

Beginning to be too crowded. I've been there several years ago both during and some time after the holidays. Need to upgrade the play area with how many people are there. Maybe im just getting older and dont get me wrong i know its a mall but they have little to no security, atleast from what i seen and would be an easy target for an unfortunate event. Food selection was in my opinion one of the better perks...
