I recently visited the Fargo location this Friday on June 13th from Winnipeg. I work at the East Winnipeg location, and the moment I walked in. I instantly felt at home because when you are on the road for over three plus hours where you want to get your shopping and everything done. I was instantly put at ease.
As such, we live in a world where the lines are blurred and divided on so many issues that are hard to conceptualize due to the fact where to put it bluntly is simply not enough : laughter, joy , and love to remedy and be of service to any situation. We have the frontline workers , those serving in the military , and those working at Costcos that are working tirelessly to provide for themselves, take care of families, and better the world where I must give a kudos to the frontlines, military , and everyone working at Costcos. You are always appreciated.
My shopping experience deserves more than five stars. The wifi or changing of country Canada to US because I forgot to bring my membership card and had it on my phone, but it was like watching a dart game as an spectator asking when is the match over.
The purpose of this review is to directly thank Alexis, Monty, Austin at membership and those who ran my transaction through the till. Let me be clear: There is many items you guys sell in Fargo that we do not sell in Canada such as US stamps, Velvetta Cheese, Bakery products, and assortments of goodies in your back 40 , deli, meat, bakery, candy aisle, and even the food court. I mainly went to the store to get my Mother a late Mother’s Day gift and my pops.
So, let it be known Fargo Costco Wholesale LTD you outdid yourself following two things that are often overlooked Take care of our members and our employees. You checked off both amazing experience with this visit. I felt like I was on the set of the Oscars where the analogy I will use is the red carpet was orchestrated with all the bells and whistles . Your team outdid yourself with first class service to me and other members in the store . I felt I was at Disney world than all the sudden I checked my membership realizing where I was.
How can your team create a winning culture? Keep doing what you’re doing and never let anyone sway your opinion and make you feel different. Generally speaking, my own professional and personal life has revolved working in the retail industry outside the Costco. You know even had a couple stints in the restaurant industry where the feedback if we are finding common ground is more negative than positive.. I guess there is points you can illustrate as constructive. For example , Cashiers communicating with assistants about groceries where by the great leaders I was taught Keep it Simple , Less is more. What do I mean by that? Make the interaction memorable with the customer or colleague and I sensed that fast at your location. Because the line of communication with simple tasks always put the eggs and bread last on top of the products and other nuances to make sure everything goes together like a game of Tetris , so when someone is loading there groceries not everything is falling over. Most stores generally hear negative comments that sometimes could be hard to curb minor issues and Every warehouse has different ways of teaching similar to a school course or perhaps even a philosophy exchange between colleagues and staff. I am giving some Canadian Love. You can all be quoted from me as efficiency experts where if I was bricklayer I would be making lots of recruits based on my evaluation to my scouting department where I’m giving you public intel.
Overall, the customer service was outstanding, and the products were exactly placed in an accessible location that was show time ready and easy to location what I was looking for. My belief is when I go shopping I went to be in and out with no hassle. I was so pleased with the service I received from this Costco location. To sum it up: I spoke to the operations Manager Amanda how impressed I was. You will...
Read moreI was using my Mother's card to run some errands at Costco which I have done many times before for her as she was away. She has the household Costco goldstar membership card which I used to enter the shopping center. I picked up some photos and the young man who was helping had excellent costumer service, great personality, and multitasked between me and several other customers filling each need. Outstanding. I figured as I was there I would pick up a few things of my own and check out. Now I know technically you are not allowed to purchase products with someone else's card, but my mother said as long as I told them that I was doing her errands they wouldnt question especially sense we have the same last name. As I was checking out, I noticed a bagger at the till I was angrily tossing boxes, talking back to customers, and even pulling stuff out of their hands to load sed "boxes" for the cart. Although this was odd I paid no mind as my items ran through the checking system. The man at the till looked at the card with my mother's name / face and immedietly called for a manager I'm sure to help deal with the situation like my mother had explained. But before that resolved the bagging lady grabbed the card from his hand and with a demeaning tone she said that a Costco card is like a "liscence" just giving me the card back I asked what they wanted me to do and she just walked away from me. Getting no better help from the man at the till I just ended up leaving my stuff and walking away. I have never experienced such bad customer service. I have used the family card here numerous times before but never felt so demeaned. I was even planning to buy a costco membership in college but after this experience I will never step foot in this building again. All employees should be held up to the same standard as the man at the photos. I shouldn't have to go out of my way to speak to a manager or explain my situation to get good customer service. There were much better ways those two could have handled that situation and now I'm left with a bad attitude about the company and will no longer be...
Read moreI am writing a review primarily for the gas station and food cafeteria. The gas station has some employees (some don't, it's inconsistent) that go around and tell people to turn their vehicles off while they're pumping. This doesn't take into account that sometimes you can't turn your cat off because it might not start back up if you jumped your battery out when it's extremely cold and your car doesn't start when it's cold. Only station I've ever went to that did this. The lines get insane at this place too, basically all day. The cafeteria loves to short people and are generally rude. Every time we order frozen yogurt there's a circle shaped hole in middle, because they strategically leave space to give out less. Lame. When they had chili I ordered it multiple times and only once they asked me if I'd like cheese on it, and I was shocked if was available and they'd never offered it, then I said yes when they did offer it and they STILL didn't give me any. Also lame. I ordered a whole pizza to go the other day, waited half an hour, by the windo , watching them take out multiple pizzas out of the oven and give them out to people who came after me. I walked up to the window to ask what the wait was and they looked at me and walked away. I waited until the line died down and got back in line to ask where my food was and he casually walked over and grabbed a pizza in a box from the side. No one called my name, it was lukewarm, and I got no apology. I'm done with this place. I can get a pizza to go with a smile and cheaper at the other bulk shopping store. On that note, the other big box bulk store also has lower prices on literally everything except gas! I'm canceling my stupid membership. They're just rude...
